my cervix is to the left

I been trying to get pregnant, I just found out that my cervix is to the left. Would this cause me to not get pregnant?

Hello Nitza23! Welcome to Mothering! I moved your thread to the Trying to Conceive Forum because I think you will get more responses here. I don't think your cervix pointing to the left should prevent you from getting pregnant. Sperm will find their way and swim to the right spot. Your cervix moves around during your cycle depending on the part of your cycle you are in. Is your uterus tilted to the left or just your cervix? Good luck!

Pokey is right (as usual :wink), it is really unlikely to cause problems. My cervix is very far back and points back... kind of hard to describe, but I have been fortunate to get pregnant very easily. My uterus is also slightly tilted back and, again, I've had no trouble getting or staying pregnant so far and have had wonderful births with well positioned babies. I think you'll be just fine! There may be positions you could use to try and "aim" the sperm the correct way, though. Just a thought?

Thanks, mareseatoats! I have also been told my uterus is tilted backwards, but no one ever said it would be an issue while TTC or during pregnancy.
