I need it to stop because I am sending him away and making him feel bad.

Could very well be a sinus infection you're smelling. Those are foul and can make the breath smell like cadaver or a bad tooth. Poor him, and poor you!

Just going to out it out there... I don't refrain from lunch meat nor do I hear it up (gross) and I don't worry at all as long as it hasn't been sitting in my fridge for too long.

Sorry you're throwing up, but not sorry you must have good high hormone levels, you know?
But to be gross and commiserative, I learned from prior pregnancies, that there comes a time, when we pay close attention to how thoroughly we chew, before swallowing, if you take my meaning. If we even had lunchmeat or any other processed meat in the fridge, I might be tempted, but since we don't it's easy to avoid, because I'm too lazy to go out and buy any! hehe
That's exactly it! For a few days there I felt ok and was really wondering what was up! I just toldy two best friends last night and so I'm kinda happy I threw up today. It was only once so far but all bile and right before I took the kids to school so of course they were home and worried about me. Then I felt ok for a few minutes shoveled some water (we're having really warm temps in the middle of winter) and came inside to do some clutter control and just went to bed and spent most of the day there. I did manage to eat some toast with peanut butter and jam and have a quick shower. I also managed to make snack for my kids and my friends two kids that were over until their dad picked them up (I regretted saying yes buty friend really needed a weekend away and she needed help - I was feeling good when I said yes lol.gif). Now my living room is kinda tidied and my kids have had fun so I'm back in bed until DH comes home. He's told me he's picking up dinner. I don't feel like eating but not cooking sounds lovely!

Trying to debate whether to keep taking the Diclectin or stop. It's just making me so tired and obviously still throwing up on it...

Oh and the bites and chewing thing! Yes! Sometimes it's the tiniest little nibbles that see me through! Big bites make me gag at the moment!

Anyone waking up in the night nauseous? I did last night. It was horrible. I couldn't go back to sleep... Just laid there feeling sick all night.

My midwife suggested the B6 and a locally made tincture... I think I need to get both asap!

I have never experienced nausea like this... Just when you think you know what to expect.

I have definitely been nauseous at night as well.

The last two days, however, have not been so bad. It almost has me worried. I'm contributing it to lots of rest and eating small amounts frequently. There's no bleeding or cramping, but now I'm considering that there's two in there and I feel like I'm not allowed to feel OK. I can't wait to look back and laugh at all of this nonsense worry.

Yes!  I have this every night- it started since 5 1/2 weeks.  I wake up all throughout the night and toss and turn to try to make it go away.  There are a lot of nights where I'm up for a chunk of time and can't go back to sleep because I feel so sick.  I never had this before in any of my pregnancies.

I tried the b6 and it did nothing for me.  I'm considering discussing zofran with my midwife- while I'm not throwing up on a regular basis, I am totally miserable and not really functioning.  If it's safe, then I don't see a problem with it.

Not only do I wake up nauseous in the middle of the night, I wake up to smells in my dreams and surrounding me while I'm sleeping. DH walked in last night with a hot pocket and I popped right up and ran to the bathroom, mid-sleep. As if the waking up every 2 hours to pee isn't enough!

LOL (sorry) what was he doing with a hot pocket in the bedroom?

So I hate to even say anything. I don't want to jinx it. But, I am shocked at how much better this pregnancy has been compared to my last two. At this point before I was throwing up multiple times a day, every day. Pulling over the car to throw up on the freeway, throwing up at work. I felt like HELL. And it just got worse up until about 20 weeks when it improved some but I still threw up almost every day with my first for the rest of the pregnancy.

This time, I am nauseous all day long, but I can force down a little food, even though it is terrible to do and it stays down and I feel a little better for an hour or so. And, before I was so nauseaus that I was always *this close* to throwing up. Right on the line. Now, even though I am nauseous I only have waves where I feel *this close* to vomiting. I feel bad, don't get me wrong. But the last two times were pure HELL.

No longer doubting this is for real. Nipples are sore and the smell of breakfast really smells awful. So does the smell of dinner. I've given up trying to be absolutely as GF as my poor kids have to be in hopes of helping their food allergies, because I was living on coffee and little nibbles of cheese and yogurt, and eating so little that I think that was making me feel even worse, because I wasn't hungry, was only sick. Just ate a piece of locally made wild-yeast artisanal bread that has no strange ingredients, but does contain wheat, as toast, with organic cultured butter, and homemade organic lemon marmalade, and I feel MUCH better! If that is the breakfast for me, that puts an end to hours of misery each day, so be it.

Oh goingonfour, I am glad to hear you have no doubts anymore.  I haven't had any nausea at all and the only things smell wise that has bothered me, is I was at a friends house and her new cow burped up its cud and I thought I was going to loose it there.  But I have never been around a burping cow, so I don't know if it was just nasty in general. :)  My friend said it didn't bother her at all.  Listening to your bread story makes me wish I would of make a loaf of sourdough yesterday.  That just sounds divine.

Today I have had just a glimmer of morning sickness, maybe my body is getting used to the hormones! I wish I could get up off the couch now... I really need to start my day! I just had a very frustrating hour on the phone with my insurance trying to sort out their stupid mistake and then they said they needed to transfer me to a specialist and hung up on me. I screamed at my husband and threw the phone as hard as I could across the room, trying to break it. It didn't break, but it did make me feel better. My poor DH. He makes me do all these calls because he is ESL (even though he is fluent)... Well, needless to say, he is now on hold with them. I got so stressed out I started to get cramps so now I am trying to chill. Chill mama.

I am not liking the personality changes I am undergoing. I am a couch potato, hormonal crazy lady who throws things and yells at my family. Awesome.

getting worse... I'm gagging every time I smell... well, anything.

I wish I could go see a care provider... but I still haven't chosen one and I'm still working on insurance issues..

so miserable... ! sorry to vent here but I know you all understand!

This is my second pregnancy, and so far nothing like the first..... I might have thrown up once when pregnant with my son. I was just always stomach growling hungry and tired.
Now, I am so nauseous all the time - Ginger ale and saltines seemed to work for a little while... I throw up everyday (1-3 times/day) even if there isn't anything in my stomach. Nothing sounds good to eat, but will get occasional craving for fast food or other junk- which I indulge in.
Even when I am full, I still feel nauseous ......

An old wives tale is that you are more sick with a girl than you would be with a boy.... Think there is any truth in that?

We are thinking it must be a girl! But we won't know for sure until Birthing Day! joy.gif

I don't know about that theory either. I have 3 girls and I wasn't super sick with them, this pregnancy is the worst of all of them, I'm hoping that means I'm having a boy!

SarahKristy: could you maybe go to a general physician or a clinic in the short term to get a script before you find your real care provider? Have you tried unisom (doxylamine succinate) and B-6? That is the two active ingredients in one of the most successful morning sickness drugs and is a category A in safety. You can buy B-6 and unisom over the counter. One unisom tablet and 50 mg of B6 before bed might help you. If you go that route, if you pick up unisom check out the back of the package and make sure it is the correct ingredient. Unisom is sold as different formulas.

I was super sick with both the girls. I've only thrown up twice so far. Gagged a bunch more and just ridiculously tired greensad.gif

I'm gearing up for another girl but really hoping that for DH it's a boy.

DH did almost all the dishes yesterday (our kitchen was bad!) but there was a few left. I went to wash a pan to use for cooking and was barly holding it together... My stomach was churning hard greensad.gif

Cooking is fine, dishes apparently not so.

And I can't figure out if I'm hungry or my stomach is just mad. I think it's hunger and then I eat and feel worse for awhile. I think I can only eat a small handful at a time and I mostly want carbs. Best thing I ate in days was some McD fries and a smoothie. It went down easy and didn't want to come back up. I bought potatoe chips today because all we had were nacho chips that looked horrible... But potatoe? Anything potatoe is perfect right now!

I was equally nauseous with all my kids (2 girls, 1 boy) so for me, there wasn't a sex difference.  I am feeling so nauseous after I eat and smells make me gag and feel nauseous.  To top that off, I have bronchitis so every time I cough, I feel like I'm going to throw up and I'm coughing up phlegm now (I know, gross!) and that makes me gag and just the taste of all this phlegm is making me nauseous. It stinks!

The worst vomiting episode I've had was a week ago, first thing in the morning after draining all night from a cold. Throwing up phlegm/mucous and bile just makes you want to crawl under a rock and give up.

I'm beginning to wonder if my pregnancy is normal.
My first one, a daughter 2 yrs ago, my ms started at exactly 6 weeks. With my twins that I lost in sept my ms also started at exactly 6 weeks.
We'll, I'm 6 weeks and 2 days and absolutely no ms of any kind. No food ca ravings or aversions or anything. I beginning to wonder if I'm really pg...

Has anyone experienced this?
