Does anyone have any info on the rise of cases of asthma and the role of vaccines?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Actually, if you can get a medical text from over one hundred years ago, there is NO mention of allergies at all.
Asthma is rarely mentioned. St. Bernadette is supposed to have suffered from asthma - the grotto at St. Lourdes ? - yet she did not live to hood, her case was so severe.
Some doctors simply say that we are getting better at diagnosing the disease. Paying attention to the definition of the disease is also a variable to take into consideration.
Another variable is that people did not go to the doctor in such a regular schedule as they do today. Doctors may overdiagnose or misdiagnosed conditons to keep the patient load up.
Too many variables.
That is all I can think of .
