Anterior Placenta: anyone have it for #1-2 but NOT #3?

I had anterior placentas with both my kids. I am 4wks with #3 and really hoping I don't have another one! I want to feel baby move earlier. And I could never feel specific body parts like a foot or butt, etc. Someone give me hope! Did you have anterior placentas with the first 2 (or 3 or 4) and then have one that wasn't?

Has anyone had a similar experience?

My first pregnancy was normal, posterior I guess, and the second anterior.  The difference was huge.  I do hope you don't have an anterior placenta again so you can experience all the moving and kicking.  I had never heard that a woman can be prone to it.  I thought it was pretty much a matter of chance.

Not the way you describe, but the other way round: I haven't had an anterior placenta in 4 pregnancies but have one now, with my 5th. I still felt early movement (before 16 weeks). There is less movement felt from the outside there where it is, but I can still feel her feet, knees, and lie easily (since about 24 weeks.)

Didn't have it with ds1, had it with ds2, didn't with ds3.

Had one with ds1, probably with ds2, but definitely have a posterior placenta this time.
