http://kfor.com/2014/01/27/need-cash-get-paid-to-get-the-flu/ - And here I thought that the flu was so deadly dangerous that we were all supposed to go get our flu shots, but heck why not take one for the herd in the name of science and $$$.

And if you live in the UK? - http://www.flucamp.com/

In my college days I might have done that.

$3,000? if i wasn't asthmatic ? I'd do it in a heart beat.

And the flu isn't terribly dangerous to regular people, but for people with compromised immune systems (like organ recipients) the elderly, people going through chemo, it CAN kill them. That's why I get vaccinated- one of my friends has a son whose a kidney recipient and if I didn't have it, I couldn't see her or him through flu season because it could literally kill the kid.

This was posted on the I'm Not Vaccinating forum.

This is a support-only forum for those not or those seriously considering not vaccinating. Here we host discussion of issues that arise when choosing to not vaccinate and sharing of resources and information that are related to the no-vax decision. Members who are vaccinating should not post here to debate or argue accuracy or opinion of things posted.

I am not interested in a discussion about who should or should not be vaxxing. Thanks.

I would do that now if I didn't have responsibilities that would preclude being in a hospital for 9 days.

I'd load up on probiotics and vitamin D beforehand, so I might not even have to get sick.

Other than thinking, "$3,000, sweet!" my other thought was, "how could they have possibly gotten ethical approval for this, with such a dangerous, deadly virus!" :eyesroll

It just really freaks me out! What if somehow they had a mix up and sprayed something else up your nose... I know that very unlikely. but it strikes me as seriously disturbing that they're using people as ginuea pigs...

That was what I found so amusing... the irony that is the vaxx industry.

Definitely not for me. I think the money was tempting to my hubby but he does sick really bad.
