October 2014 Roll Call - Page 3

Finally going to post here, now that we have a heartbeat.

I'm Monkey, expecting baby #2 (this is pregnancy #3) around October 1st. I've decided it will be a girl. wink1.gif

For all our moms feeling a little leery because of previous losses, feel free to join us on the PAL thread.

Cautiously joining as well... we've been TTC for 14 months, and my BFP isn't yet big or fat enough for me to really feel pregnant yet!

2nd baby

EDD around Oct 24 or so

No idea, no preference, can't wait to be surprised when baby comes out

Hello mamas!  I'm excited to be in another DDC!  It's very early of course, but I'm joining anyway.  I was 6 weeks yesterday, EDD 10-05-14.

LOTS of mixed feelings about this pregnancy...it wasn't planned and DS just turned 14 months old.  I was hoping for more than a 22 month gap between babies!  I am struggling somewhat with feeling like the needs of DS and this tiny gestating babe are at odds...like DS wants to be held all the time, but it makes my abdomen/back hurt...and we definitely still nurse at night but it's already hard on my newly pregnant body (I may be starting a night weaning thread if there's not one here already!).  Any other mamas feel like this??

I think this baby is a girl but we shall see at the birth :)  Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome! We have the same EDD!

I had to night wean my DS1 when I got pg with DS2.. nursing at night was really awful when I was pg. DS2 was night weaned before I got pg, and same with DS3 and this one.

Yay for EDD twins!  I have heard that October 5th is actually the most common birthday, strangely enough.  Lots of New Years conceptions I guess ;)

Any night weaning tips?

My DH took over at night.. it's hard, but it only takes a week or two of restlessness and crying (while being comforted, not CIO). I figure 1-2 weeks of night time responsibility for DH more than makes up for the 1 1/2 years of me nursing all night and him sleeping like a rock ;)

Oh that's good to hear!  And yes I think it more than makes up for it!  My DH sleeps like a rock too!

STL mama when is your baby's birthday? I have a ds who is 14 months old, too. Were you in the December 2012 ddc?

I was actually in the November 2012 DDC, but DS was born 12-03-12.  I suspected all along he would be late and a December baby; I should have just joined that DDC :)  When is your son's bday?

Hey - didn't see my name on the roster - I'm Katie, due Sept 28th but I was 41 weeks with my daughter so I'm assuming I'll have this baby in early October :)  I have a 27-month-old daughter, born November 2011.

Hi! I decided to go ahead and join you all! I'm due Sept 26 but it's likely I'll go over! I have a DS & DD. This one will be a surprise. We are planning our second HBAC!

Hello!

VA77 - Victoria

Baby #1

EDD: Sep. 30 - Decided to join you guys instead :)

The extended family would love a little girl (lots of boys in the fam) which means it'll probably be a boy.
