Any advice?!? TIA!

Hello all! My wife has been testing opk since cd11, now cd15 and still negative. Trying again at 6pm. Frustrating.
She is having some spotting and she says she doesn't feel "ready" to ovulate. Worried that our follicle development acupuncture may have effected the process. In the past, we have been positive by now. Called and left msg with our practitioner to check. Anyone have ideas?
We have the vials here ready and waiting. Getting nervous.
How long are her cycles normally? I'd say it's normal to vary a day or two. So if she doesn't O til 17, that's ok. Also, I've never tried IUI (home or dr office), so I wouldn't know much about the protocol. But I think as soon as you see the pos OPK, ITS TIME!! Then maybe 12-24 hour later. One more thing....y'all haven't been trying that long, so don't start freakin yourselves out. My first child took 11 months to conceive with no underlying issues. It's a mystery! Keep us posted! And good luck!

How long do you guys typically get ewcm before ovulation? I wasn't able to temp today because I moved around too much before I remembered but I just had quite a bit of ewcm which is pretty strange for me. I will take an opk after work but as of yesterday it was negative. Still no breast tenderness so who knows? Ha ha.

jenjy - that is great that you got some proactive support for your progesterone!  I bet that will be a great relief going into your LP next cycle.

jchole - 125 days?  Have you seen a doc for that?  Wow!

rosie - Are you still testing or did you hang it up for the month?

edubluv - Lovely line lady - getting darker by the day!

AFM:  I had a mini-meltdown/pity party yesterday bc I feel like a caged animal with this persistent cold weather  :cold.  I want to get outside and be active, which makes me feel so much better in general.  Starting to wonder if I've got a little seasonal affective disorder going on bc of so much time indoors this winter.  Ugh.

Today I booked a nice little 4 day jaunt to Marco Island, FL  (south of Naples on Gulf side) for some fun in the sun.  It's supposed to be mid-70's and sunny there which sounds like pure magic, bc at home it was -2 this morning and got up to a whopping 20 degrees today.  Bitter, bitter cold.

Now my biggest obstacle is clothing - hope my stuff from summer still fits (must be comfy)... time to dig it out and face the music.

btw - before I booked my trip today I pulled a lounge chair into the sun in a big bay window I have.  I just laid there like a turtle, soaking up those rays.  That's my level of desperation right now!

Sounds like a trip is just what you need! Sounds great! Do you live in the midwest?

inna No, no dr yet, but I will go soon. Researching docs in my area now-most aren't accepting new patients, and I don't want to go back to my old one.

i agree, you need to get that checked out. Something's not right...

inna: I hung it up. Sounded/felt like I was wasting sticks!! Will try again next cycle (hopefully not). Oh, and I'm with you....I have SAD! If it doesn't warm up soon I'm gonna have a nervous breakdown! I need sunshine and warmth!

apeydef - yup, I live near St. Louis.

jchole - you must live outside of the city.  I've faced that same thing with smaller towns and the docs are at max capacity.  Then, even when you do get an appt that doesn't mean it'll be anywhere near on time.  Lots of time spent in those waiting rooms.  It stinks!

rosie - I would've done the same thing re the monitor.  Let it try again next month.  Obviously it's not learning anything if it didn't catch your surge!

AFM:  Just packed for the trip.  Wardrobe is grossly limited to super casual... which honestly is my style anyway.  In the past on trips I've always had good intentions - bringing cute dresses, strappy sandals, and even some kind of hair implement -  but always end up wearing cutoffs, flip flops and a pony tail.  I think growing up in Florida in a beach town really put the beach bum in me.  I feel like at my age I should be more polished, but it would be like dressing up for Halloween.  It's just not me.

I have a sneaking suspicion I'm gonna feel very uncomfortable in a bathing suit too.  I'm just too white.  Whiteness coupled with new jiggly bits does not a happy girl make!

Jumping in to introduce myself. I am a single mama to two awesome kids. I am in a special circumstance to have a third. So I have been TTC#3.

I started charting and tracking in Oct./Nov. I have irregular periods, which makes it hard. I also have been sick all of January, so my temps were all over the place last cycle and I have no clue when I ovulated. I am due to start my period this week and will start my first round of Clomid.

Up till now, I feel I have been doing everything right. I temp at 4am everyday, take prenatals, use opk's, sperm count fine and Dr. said everything else is good.

I'm nervous about multiples, but excited.

I may have a very faint positive line. I don't want to get my hopes up too high. I'll come back with a picture if I can get a more obvious line.

Can totally see it on the tweaked one. The other, not so much. Still exciting! Keep peeing and watching it get darker! It's fun! Congrats!
