Homeschooling in Saskatchewan

Thread Starter

We are relocating to Saskatchewan later this year; we currently unschool, but are looking at various options before making any decisions as to whether we continue homeschooling or let the kids go to school.

I would love to hear about homeschooling in SK, specially about groups in smaller farming communities as that is where we plan to settle.

TIA

Hi Annie! Just thought I'd bump your post up for attention. Anyone have a recommendation to share?

Do you know which area of SK you will be moving to? I think the groups vary from area to area. We have a pretty big group in and around our area but I'm not sure that is the case in all the small farming communities. This link might give you some starting info. http://www.shbe.info
Saskatchewan is a good place to homeschool though.

Thanks OSTC :)

We are not sure which area, yet.  Hubby's job will entail him travelling to farmers all over SK so we can pretty much chose anywhere.  Will  be rural or small town.  HS will factor into the decision, also where there are more horsey things happening as I ride western and train horses. :)
