I was just wondering if any of you do have outside jobs how you are coping with the m/c, fatigue, and issues like when to tell the boss ect.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Hi Nannymom,
I also work outside the home. I'm actually in the midst of a major period of transition. I do research as part of my grad school funding and plan to finish my degree by Sept 2004. I really don't want to tell my boss for a few more weeks---I'd like to give him a big piece of work before I make my announcement. I'm also in the process of looking for a new position for next September. I'm hoping to do my initial interviews in the next couple weeks before I get so big that it's obvious. I'd like to tell a new boss after having been offered the job.
Working with ms has been very hard. I nibble on almonds, lemon water, herbal infusions and kefir throughout the day. I have to go to bed very early each night to pull it off. Fortunately I have a very flexible schedule and can hide in my office when I feel really awful.

I work three nights a week at a local independent coffee shop. My boss and coworkers are like family to me, so they already knew that we'd been trying and I told them that we were expecting right after I told my actual family.
The tiredness is really getting to me, and I've been extra cranky with customers that aren't on their best behavior. Hopefully once the first trimester blahs wear off, I'll be able to stick it out there until at least September or October... or whenever my belly gets in the way of washing the dishes. :LOL

Yep, I work outside the home as well. I am still grappling with the "when do i tell" issue. I am waiting until I feel like I HAVE to tell (i.e. when I start noticibly showing...I have a couple of weeks I think).
I have been blessed with a lack of m/s during the day (I can't brush my teeth without gaging, but that is a whole 'nother topic) and I am not eating significantly different, so no one has noticed.
