Favorite "new baby" books for siblings?

We're looking for gender-neutral books for our soon-to-be big sister. Most of the ones at the bookstore are "you're getting a sister" or "you're getting a brother". DH told me a while back that he saw a cute one where the family got all these different animals but they weren't quite right and then finally got a baby and it was just right. But he didn't buy it and now we can't find it and he doesn't remember the name...

What are you favorites?

I've been looking for books like this, too. Following!

It's not exactly a "break-the-pregnancy-news" book, nor is it gender neutral, but there's this sweet book called Growing Like Me that follows a boy around a pond as he thinks about all the ways living things there grow and change. At the end, the boy is cuddling his baby brother, and imagining how someday he'll be a big kid, too. If we have a second boy, I'll be buying it.

We have a few great books about the mom being pregnant and/or the addition of a new baby.  I'll sit down and see what I can find tonight in the boys' bookcases.

. Your favorite book to read to the kids is "Baby on the Way" by Dr. Sears and his wife. They also have a "What baby Needs" book.

However there is a home birth kids book I've hadmy eye on. I can't remember the name of it at the moment.

Would it be Alligator Baby by Robert Munsch?  http://www.amazon.ca/Alligator-Baby-Robert-Munsch/dp/0590123874

Oh, that looks hilarious! But waaaay to many words for my ds to sit through. He's still kind of a one-sentence-or-less-per-page kid. :)

I'm not sure. I showed that to my husband and he didn't think that was what he read before, but since it's so cheap I am going to order it anyway, along with Hello Baby.
