Help with a babywearing swap?

We are tryign to organize a babywearing swap on the Co-op board without a whole lot of participants that have jumpe don board yet. If you have ISO or FT babycarriers check it out, it should be fun!

Guess I could head over there and search around to find out, but how does this work? Sounds like a group swap as opposed to individual swaps?

That's right - it was designed to have everyone list what they were in search of - and then I'd match from among the group.

Those of you who were interested - do you think it might work better as a reverse swap, where everyone had what they wanted to trade?

Ok, so Sue sends her sling to Jane, Jane sends her pouch to Nancy and Nancy sends her ABC to Sue, right? So were people only listing what they were ISO, or also what they had for trade? If it's just one or the other, how do you know who to swap people with? I imagine it would work great if people listed both sides of the coin. I.e. I have a Maya for trade and want to try a Moby.

I think this is a really cool idea. I'll be in for sure! (I have more on my "for trade" list than I do on my "ISO" list, but I'll pretty much try anything!)

Yeah as a reverse swap I think there'd be more interest. And it would be easier I'm sure.

IMHO the swap would work best if everyone posted their for trade list (reverse swap). Regardless, this will be a tough swap, as size and value of carriers comes in to play.

People would PM me with who they could match up with, and I'd organize a swap list...that way it's a bit of a surprise. If you look over on the co-ops and swaps in the TP, you can see how a group swap works!

Since we're getting more interest, I'm going to try and repost it now, and give people some time to sign up, and I'll try and get the link in my sig.
