states with no philosphical exemption - Page 2

ma2maya , the father of a fellow student of mine in chiropractic school had done that to her records...falsified them. Signed the vax record as a doctor.

While she (and the other completely non-vaxed student in my class) was probably THE healthiest human I've ever known, I just didn't think it was cool her father had done that.

For one, it's falsifying records and he could have gotten in trouble. Impersonating an MD was another. But also, she's "counted" among the vaxed, and doesn't officially get to proclaim "I'm unvaxed and healthy as an ox"! Her records prove otherwise.

Made me nervous, the falsification bit, and I had zero stake in what her records said.

So I would never do it.

-I agree, its just that at times when I am playing"worst case scenario" in my head, like if we move back to Mexico and somehow we are forced to prove her vax records, that is one of the ideas that I came up with.

Don't know if I would ever do it or ever need to do it. Besides that, I am horrible at covering up the truth. Don't pick me as a partner in poker!

In Oregon also you only have to sign a statement that you are raising your child in a religion with beliefs contrary to vaccination. I was advised by my first daycare provider to leave the form blank when doing this, even with partial vax, or it will flag an audit by the Board of Health. This is what I've always done. In daycare, private school, and public school, we have never been asked to specify what religion or document the tenets.
