For those who participated in the March challenge, and anyone else who would like to set a goal and get healthy.

I made a list of things to do this morning - haven't started yet but will after my children wake up and we eat breakfast and start school. Feel free to make your own list for when you want to exercise but aren't sure what to do.

Some ideas:

-swim

-walk around your yard, the block, the neighborhood, etc.

-lift weights (or walk holding cans)

-sit-ups

-walk up and down stairs

-go running

-jumping jacks

-pick up sticks in your yard, weed, etc.

-walk the dog

-chase the cat back inside

-ride an exercise bike

When I've woken up more and my knee feels better I will post what I've done to start exercising this month. I'm excited from last month and I look forward to seeing how everyone does.

2 walks around the yard plus picking up sticks = roughly 60/1,000

I'm just about ready to give up on my exercise bike. It squeaks and croaks no matter how many times I spray it with WD-40 and give it a few hours.

YAY!! We are already moving and shaking this month! I love starting the first day of the month off with moving. It sort of sets the stage...YKWIM?

I'm sticking to another 1500....it's summer time and we know what that means.

4/1 - 125 minutes total.....60 minute solid weight lifting and then 60 minutes climbing stairs (5.6 miles) at the gym. Light stretching)

Wow, everybody is so active! Loving it!!

Well it wasn't a great start for me... I think I'm PMS. I did bike to the doctor but ended up leaving before I actually saw him (was for DS' shots) because DS was a little pest, screaming, crying, getting into EVERYTHING. But then at work I was on my feet all day doing inventory of the WHOLE store but of course I don't count work :p

UGH I'm so tired. Today's run was punctuated with lots of slow downs and stops ....I worked hard to get this one out,

04/03 35 run/walk

It's really hot here (i know, bouhouohu) and I think that's why I felt so exhausted after the run! Where do y'all live? Is it getting warmer?

ohhh I'm from Montreal :)

I heard that the sun is finally shining, hurray!!

Today was HOT here, like in the 80s (yes!) and soooo muggy, I believe the mugginess is the reason why I felt so tired!

Jaxy - I'm in the South. We are having 80 degree days all week...just gorgeous! It's about time too!

I will say though -I ran Monday and was so dehydrated. I guess I'm just not used to sweating so much yet.

Are you in the South? Did I not pay attention to a post?

Edited - Oh Yeah! New Orleans! Yep...it's hot!

Two miles around the yard - 25 + 25 = 50 + 300 = 350/1,000

I would have mulched more but I was having some sciatic pain from yesterday and didn't want to make it worse.

Thanks be to God, my exercise bike didn't squeak or croak tonight, so I rode it for 20 minutes!

370/1,000
