For those who participated in the March challenge, and anyone else who would like to set a goal and get healthy.
I made a list of things to do this morning - haven't started yet but will after my children wake up and we eat breakfast and start school. Feel free to make your own list for when you want to exercise but aren't sure what to do.
Some ideas:
-swim
-walk around your yard, the block, the neighborhood, etc.
-lift weights (or walk holding cans)
-sit-ups
-walk up and down stairs
-go running
-jumping jacks
-pick up sticks in your yard, weed, etc.
-walk the dog
-chase the cat back inside
-ride an exercise bike
When I've woken up more and my knee feels better I will post what I've done to start exercising this month. I'm excited from last month and I look forward to seeing how everyone does.
Well it wasn't a great start for me... I think I'm PMS. I did bike to the doctor but ended up leaving before I actually saw him (was for DS' shots) because DS was a little pest, screaming, crying, getting into EVERYTHING. But then at work I was on my feet all day doing inventory of the WHOLE store but of course I don't count work
i'm near Toronto, Ontario, and it's just barely the beginnings of Spring. we still have lots of snow and a chilly wind! but at least the sun has been out lately

2 miles around the yard - 25 + 25 = 50 + 470 = 520/1,000
