WELCOME TO THE "ONE" THREAD
April 2014

Posted by alexisyael in 2004:
The One Thread is designed for all on the MDC board. No matter where you are in your cycle, you are welcome to join the One Thread! We are also open to those who are "Waiting to be Ready" for one reason or another. We continue to embrace those of us who have become pregnant as well. Feel free to jump in at any time and introduce yourself!

To help keep the list current and manageable, members will be deleted after a month of not posting to a One thread.

Please make add/remove/change requests in Bold.

Hello ladies- It is already April- can you believe it is apparently Spring as I look outside and stare at the snow on the ground and a third of the year is gone already.

Let me know of any changes/stuff to add to the list in Bold please! I look forward to managing the thread this month. Hoping I can do a good job ;)

Sending baby dust to each and everyone one of you!

Thanks @tinytina I just wasn't able to do a good job so I knew it was time to pass the torch! You can move me to Waiting to know we are not officially trying but don't use birth control either so I'm still going to follow bc anything can happen right??!!??

Thanks for being the thread keeper tinytina!

Thanks for the condolences regarding my dog. I'm doing much better now. Still hard, but I'm going to work on crafting more and doing things around the house to fill my time.

Can you please move me to waiting to o? thanks!

Thanks tiny!! And not to be the bearer of bad news, but at the very top it still says March.

And I'm waiting to know.

Every month that a new thread begins, I get a little sad. When I joined in Sept, I never imagined I'd still be here.

Please add me to waiting to O.

Rosie I completely agree I've been around since October. It is so nice to see so many familiar names now but it also makes me sad because it means I'm becoming one of the old ones lol.

Siuann, losing a fur child is so rough. I lost my childhood dog in 2010 and it still makes me sad. I'm glad that you are doing better though.

Sorry about your furr baby. We have three dogs and nine cats, and we've had many older furr bakes pass on us so we know your pain.

Thanks alive and badwolf. Rosie, I feel you on the amount of time. Never thought I'd still be here. Me and a good friend started trying about the same time. Let's just say she had her baby in Feb.

I am waiting to know. I also can't believe I'm still trying after my loss in January 2013.

I'll go back over the other thread when I get a chance to see what I've missed since my last post.

I have been home with a sick child for the past 2 days. It's just as well I didn't have to drive on ice covered roads today. I hope they will be clear tomorrow.

And I did exactly the same thing with the thread title when I started the new thread for TTC after loss today. Welcome to April! Did anyone experience any April Fool's tricks?

Mine is usually a textbook 14 day. I LIKE to think that with that and my very normal cycles, that it should be indicative of decent chances of having another baby. But I'm losing my faith here...

Thanks, Tinytina for starting the new thread!

In 2012 I started spotting during my LP. My OB assumed stress and my other Drs didn't know but suggested things like B6 etc that you did also. It helped a bit, but I had blood drawn several times during the LP showing low progesterone. Not low enough to prescribe anything though apparently. Finally, my Dr prescribed me progesterone and I took it last cycle. Not a bit of spotting during the LP, although I did get a drop when AF was due. However, I was also pregnant (lost at ~5 weeks)... so the absence of spotting during the LP could be related to being pregnant. However, I had plenty of LP spotting during my two losses last year (one chemical, the other made it to 8 weeks.) So the bottom line is that I really attribute the spotting finally going away to my progesterone supplementation (started at 3DPO-ish).
Thank you so much for sharing, Jenjy! And I'm so sorry for your losses.

I am a bit worried if I am pregnant whether or not I can sustain it given my history of spotting. I've suspected low progesterone but haven't been tested. I can't remember if I spotted when I was pregnant with DS but I know my hormones were off at the beginning (2 BRNs after a BFP). We'll see ... I'll test tomorrow as AF was due today but spotting totally stopped.

@Chilee, my LP varies & has been mostly 12-13 days, though stretching some to 14 days in the last few cycles.

Yay! April thread!
:D

Please put me in the Waiting to O section. I may be waiting a while, I just came off my birth control that I've been on for 5 years. I ordered a basal thermometer from Amazon tonight. They always ship fast so I bet I'll have it by Friday. I can't wait to start charting!

Lots of BFP vibes to everyone!
