Depends on the company. Most WAHMs do everything themselves so it could very well take a month for a sling. Some WAHMs have 2 months or more on sligns. I've been fortunate to be able to cut back mine but I've been on the 1 month plus at one time. Thats one way we WAHMs are able to keep the prices of slings down. For example, I'll be hireing a seemstress in the future to spead up production and able to keep more in stock , BUT that means I'd have to raise the price as well. So It all depends, I guess, on if its something you really want.
I would give her another email and ask about ETA. A busy busy WAHM may honestly just gotten behind or missed your email. I always give people a couple emails before I assume they are blowing me off.
Anyways, goodluck and I hope you get it resolved and get your sling soon!
ETA: Ask her if she has a list or group set up for order updates. I know a few do and its helpfull to the customers. I think Kangaroo Korner does and I do , I'm sure theres gotta be more. Anyways, if she does its a good way to be able to 'self-check' on the status. Or I like how Kristen at Hotslings does hers with the note on the frontpage that says what order she is on according to dates. So awesome!
