What lead you to become a CBE? How successful have you been in your community? How did you begin to obtain clients and get more exposure? Do you do mostly one-on-one education with couples/mamas or classes with multiple clients? Do you offer something "different" than other CBEs in your area? Do you also combine other birth-related work with your CBE work? (such as doula, lactation consultant, etc). Did you train with a "brand" of CBE or really develop your own approach as an educator in addition to your certification?
Just curious, it is something I have often considered working towards in the future (I am a doula)- I have noticed their are not a lot of CBE options in my immediate area (a lot of which I consider standard format etc), thought there are more diverse options in a nearby city.
