I had brown spotting early on in this pregnancy. It turned out to be nothing. Hope yours is too!

well, we're back. Dr. said it's "viable," but dated me at 5 weeks so they could only see a sac, it was too small to see whether there was anything inside. I have to go have more blood drawn in a few days to see if my hcg quants are rising as they should. Basically, right now, it's a wait and see thing, although the bleeding has stopped, so I'm hopeful. send more stay baby vibes my way!!!

I have a friend who spotted quite a bit, for several weeks, and her healthy 3-year-old is standing right beside me! Praying that all goes well for you.

Sending thoughts and prayers your way. Ohh, the anxiety of waiting it out is hard. I had a little pink/brown spotting a few weeks ago, and went right in to be checked - all looked good, and I have not had any more spotting since. I hope you will find a similar positive prognosis...and here's hoping we all get past this 12 week hurdle in great health. Hugs to you.

Rachel, I had some spotting at 12 weeks and it turned out to be placenta previa, it moved and everything is fine. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks guys! The spotting stopped last night and hasn't been back. Now I just have to wait until my dr's appt. on Tuesday morning to make sure that everything is progressing and my hcg levels are going up as they should. Until then I'm trying not to worry and feeling optimistic... today, anyways.

Rest up this weekend and drink lots of water! Susun Weed also recommends Vit. E in her Childbearing Year book.

Oh! I know how scary that is! I had brown spotting at 6weeks...it turned bright red once (only one time) and then turned back to light brown. I had an u/s and they found the baby and a heart beat. Dr. said it was probably my cervix. It lasted for 3 days and then stopped. I hope everything turns out to be fine with you!

jeez, is it tuesday yet? I've not had any more spotting since Thurs. nught, but I'm still worried. I thought I was at 6.5 weeks when I went to the er, so the 5wk date on the u/s has me concerned... wait, I get it now! The difference in dates was the difference between the gestational age, and the developmental age.. right? My calculations were going from the first day of my last period, and my drs. calculations were going from the actual date of conception. Jeez, I'm suddenly so relieved! I sat for hoiurs after we got home from the hospital, trying to figure out how my dates could be so far off, thinking that it meant that the baby must have stopped developing. Well, now I'm even less worried, and much more confident that all will be well. Thanks for sticking with me through my thinking aloud, and thanks for all the positive thoughts. My appt. is at 9 am tomorrow, I'll let you all know what I hear as soon as I hear it!
