co-op preschool

Thread Starter
Has anyone started or been part of an in home Preschool co-op? I live in a small rural area with not many preschool options. I was thinking about once a week taking turns meeting at each others house and teaching. I have the required amount of classes to work as a preschool teacher and so does the other mom that I'm planning this with. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. How many mom's and kids should we try for? What ages should we have? How organized should we make it? ect.

Thanks

Check Out This Book

You might consider reviewing this book (I am a La Leche L Librarian and the book is checked out so I don't have the name of the author handy...)

It is called "Playful Learning-An Alternative Approach to Preschool". I have looked at it briefly and found it to be extremely helpful.

Good luck!
