eww cheese wiz huh? I've never tried it... something about cheese in a can seems, I dunno, just not right LOL

I am craving a big juicy, back yard grilled hamburger!

Last pregnancy I was craving dairy big time. Not so much of that yet.

I get dairy cravings, but I can't satisfy it because a) it upsets my stomach and b) it upsets dd's stomach and we are still nursing. But oh, how I wish I could put cheese on my hamburger, since beef is a craving too - which happened with dd too.

I was craving crap in the beginning of the pg, but now sweets leave a bad taste in my mouth. Bummer!!

Sweets are bothering me too. That taste in my mouth is the worst thing! I had a major craving for Vienna sausages the other day. These things are disgusting, right next to the Spam and Deviled Ham. I gave in and had them. Hopefully that one won't come back. I mostly want protein foods and I want them NOW if ykwim!

french bread pizza.....actually any pizza. i have a few pizzarias in mind around here that i'm REALLY craving...dh told me he grabbed a slice after a rehearsal the other night and since then i can't stop thinking about it. i had a veggie soy pizza pocket last night and it didn't do anything for the craving :

Last time I craved beer - talk about nonproductive...I am not even a beer-drinker. It surfaced in the second trimester and lasted the pregnancy. Smelling a beer that my dad had open (DH doesn't drink either) would relieve my MS. It was the weirdest thing.

The first time I didn't crave anything at all - I was far too busy avoiding my aversions which were numerous and all of which were very, very common smells in Hawaii.

I haven't had any cravings yet this time around. I did really want a pizza two days ago but I don't know if that counts at all

Wow, for a split second I thought you meant you were actually craving crap. You know, pica? Like when you crave clay and laundry detergent.

I'm craving anything fresh. The thought of making food that doesn't involve fresh fruit and/or veggies makes me queasy most of the time. I have more aversions this time than with either of my other pregnancies. The smell of cumin is really bad for me. Kinda rules out mexican

I had a strange experience the other day- I was craving a baked potato with sour cream. While I ate it it was super yummy and I thought about cooking more. After I took the last bite the thought of baked potatos was repulsive to me

My cravings are turning into aversions. I was craving avocado & sushi last week...now that I've had them, the thought of either makes me nauseaus.

I can so relate to the "my cravings are turning into aversions." Just about everything sounds yuck to me lately. Sometime something will sound really good, and I'll bit into it, only to have it turn to saw dust in my mouth. And I'll know, if I don't spit this out RIGHT NOW, I'll throw it up. Unfortunately, so things look really, really gross when I spit them out.

I'm craving fresh fruits. But when I buy them, I don't get around to cutting them up until they've gone bad. :-( I'm going to the store shortly to buy pre-cut cantelope.

me too...i can only eat small amounts at a time, because everything tastes bad after a short while, and i get indigestion. Things I ate lots of in the first few weeks I can't eat at all!

I have had weird cravings - mostly salads from Wendys (at least they are healthy!) and Taco Bell???? I will have the worst yucky feeling and then want Taco Bell, eat it and feel better - it is strange! I am just now sending DH out to get whole fruit popsicles because I just *need* them LOL!

I am having a total adversion to *any* dairy, which sucks because I was using it as a big part of my protien intake

I had a rough time on Sunday after developing nausea (exactly 4 weeks after conception) and doing EXACTLY what the book said not to : skipping a meal because I felt icky and then not eating for hours and hours, so that when I did eat I threw up halfway thru the meal. We were on vacation, which made it difficult to take care of myself the way I wanted to, but MrBecca did a great job of encouraging me to eat. He brought me the leftover rolls from the dinner I hadn't finished, which turned out to be an excellent nibble food, and a banana. I'm normally a spicy person, but lately I've been developing a whole new appreciation for certain bland foods. Maybe it's my drastically enhanced sense of smell?

While I was lying around for half a day recovering, I had a sudden fond thought for Nacho Cheese Doritos. I normally don't like that flavor, but suddenly they sounded good. Finally feeling well enough to brave the hotel food court, I grabbed a bag. So tasty!!! They're not the healthiest of foods (notable amounts of Vit. E, B6, and fiber...but MSG and all kinds of weird additives) but wow, they were just the thing to get me feeling like it was okay to eat regular food again!

Pretzels are my current favorite for an occasional snack.

OK, my first craving with this pregnancy just kicked in yesterday...cola soda

I drink soda maybe 5-6 times a year! Yesterday, I spotted a liter of Vanilla Pepsi in my fridge (my mother's), and my mouth began to water so I had a glass. It was sooooo good Since then I have had 4-5 glasses.

The upside is, it has helped with the always present nausea I have had for the last 4-5 weeks.

But, I am going to have to find a caffeine free, sugar free variety!

oh, ladies... the cravings are killing me.

I want:

BEEF! STEAK, BURGERS, TACOS, YOU NAME IT!
Yogurt
Vanilla Milk Shakes
Pizza
Chocolate
Bananas
Strawberries
Tuna Fish salad
Bread and Butter Pickles
Peanut butter

and

(sp?)Schezuan dumplings with spicey ginger sauce *drool*

OH, and I almost forgot... I suddenly hate chicken and pork and my husband's new name for me is "one bite". (as in: "...you take one bite and don't want it anymore.")

Today I was really wanting some curry and MIL calls and asks if I want to eat lunch with her...curry.

I swear the woman is psychic.

Oh, and any whiff of cola makes me heave - it is the worst, it actually makes me throw up if I smell it, and my sensitivity is heightened so I'll smell it anywhere in the same HOUSE. Interesting how different women can be, huh?
