3boyz4us- I'm glad that my post made you feel better. Now I don't think I've felt anything since, figures :LOL

No colostrum for me yet, strange because I just quite nursing in Dec! My nipples are still very sore when I squeeze them...then why squeeze them right?

Wannabmommie-

So sorry you are having hassles with your practice!

And, I am sure you will be feeling definite kicks/rolls/squirms SOON! Oh, and I don't think you really need breast pads for leaking colostrum. I usually just have two little white smudges inside my black bras where my nipples are. I saw them today, and then expressed a few drops...but when you start producing it (which may be later because you have never produced it before, right?) you may not even notice it for a while. It doesn't leak all that much.

I went to a family gathering today and my aunt was asking about my pregnancy and I mentioned that we are planning a very private birth. She said, "Oh, I heard all about it...I don't think you and I should discuss it," and just walked away really snarky. It was the first negative thing about homebirthing I have had thrown at me, and it really bummed me out. I just wanted to go and educate her about the safety. I guess I have to consider the source, though.....she had IVF to conceive, had a terrible pregnancy with every complication known to pregnant women, and then had an elective cesarean, just because. I mean, she NEEDED a lot of medical intervention to have her baby...So maybe she just doesn't have any experience with healthy pregnancies and birth, and therefore is scared of it. I don't know. But I felt really bummed about it.
