OMG my kid is making me CRAZY!!!!!

ok my dd has decided that she is only going to take one nap a day. which is usually ok but today she decided not to. So i needed to go out and she didnt sleep on the way there, but of course she fell asleep half way home. so she slept for 30 mins and now she is throwing a huge fit in her bed. kicking and screaming. i am going to get her but then what? she will make me crazy out here and scream and cry! oh its gonna ba a long time until 5:30!!!!!!

Take some deep breathes, tell yourself how worth it it all is, go give you baby a BIG hug and tell her you love her!!

I am sorry you are having such a bad day! I wish I could give you a break!! (I sometimes have this fantasy where I could live in the same county as all of my single mommy friends so we could hang out and give each other breaks! I know the days when the kids are having a hard time is when it really sinks inthat I am all alone and I wish I had someone around to help.)

I never realized how much I needed dd's daily nap for my own de-stress time, until she suddently decided she didn't want to take a nap at all during the day (this no-nap thing has happend 4 times in the past 10 days).

It sucks. I thought I was going to pull my hair out and go insane.

I feel for you, mama. I hope things get better soon.

My ds has NEVER napped longer than 45 minutes!!! He has taken 1.5-3 hours naps for his babysitter, but never with me. He is only, almost, 10 months old!!! I have tried everything, except letting him cry himself to sleep...it is like

Most of the time I can handle it, but when he has a really bad night, where does he doesn't sleep at all...such as the past couple of nights, I REALLY need him to take that nap. Heck, he really needs to take that nap!

Today is a classic example of my, and him, needing to take a nap. I don't work on Fridays and I am so sleep deprived from his sleepless nights right now. We, ds and I, have been strongly "disagreeing" about this topic all morning and unfortunately, he is winning!

So, I guess this mama will be in bed with him at 6.30pm tonight! What an exciting and wild Friday night for the woman in me!

well things did get better, i hate it when that happens and i am so feed up with her. Thank you all for your support, and understanding.
I did go and get her, gave her a big hug and brought her out of the room. she threw a fit on the floor and then was ok. she did go to bed early that night.
I hate bad days but we got through it.
