I have been a sp before but back then I wasn't disabled, didn't have four and was homeschooling....

It will be such a headache to untangle 12 years of legal documents etc...
And there is more involved than last time ....

How did all of you deal with the long time dissolution of things ?

I took the easy way out...I let him have everything. Not that he took care of what we had, he is now living with Mommy and doesn't even have a car :

Good luck with the lawyer. I think the legal stuff has been the hardest for me...every time I get a letter in the mail telling me we have done one thing and are about to move to the next I spend days mourning....I only have one letter left though, and that is when everything is final It is worth it in the end.

I didn't have those problems either as we didn't have much. Plus he was very fair and didn't ask for much more than the dvd player : Sorry you have to go through this.
