matrix revolutions- worst movie ever?

quite possibly! this movie is ridiculous. i found myself laughing (and cringing) at how cheesy it is. the acting is stiff and the dialogue is horrible.

what's that saying? 'you can't polish a turd?'

*sigh* i liked the first one. the second one sucked, but i felt obligated to watch this one.

i hated it too. depressing, since the first one was really good.

I thought the first movie was good. I was bits & pieces of the second one and thought it was just awful. I won't be seeing the third. :Puke

Its not so bad ......

THe second was bad, but I felt obligated to rent the third just to continue. It was AWFUL. BTW is the last segment of the LOTR trilogy EVER coming to video? I'm dying to see it.

I didn't even make it all the way through. My dh had already seen it so I just made him tell me how it ended. The first Matrix was awesome, the second bad, the third absolutely ridiculous. The cheesy, self-important dialogue. The fake heaviness to every word uttered. It is amazing how the same costumes & stunts which seems cool combined with a REAL movie seemed almost comic in the last one.

Wow, I kinda liked it. I won't even tell you how many times I saw it. Did anyone see The Animatrix? I thought a lot of those stories were even better than the first movie.

OhMel, we have the Animatrix. I won't go into how completely obsessed I was with the first Matrix, but it was pretty pathetic. I think I watched it almost everyday over the summer. So we went and saw the second when it came out and then again when it came out on Imax. And went to the opening day showing of Revolutions at Imax. I din't think the second one sucked until I saw the third. I could've gone either way. But the third was just so awful... well, I don't talk about the Matrix anymore. I don't think I'll be able to watch it for a long time. I am a huuuge nerd, huh?

Anyway, some of the Animatrix were amazing. And the four that actually tied into the movie were very interesting.

We even played Enter the Matrix. I'm so ashamed... :

really enjoyed the first. The second one was TERRIBLE!

Don't know if I can stomach the third.. anyone want to post a spoiler and tell how it ends ?

I have such an intense aversion to Keanuea (sp?) Reeves that I hard a hard time even sitting all the way through the first one.... no way I was going to see the second one.

He has got to be the worst actor in history. He makes me nuts!

I agree...it sucked! So did the 2nd one, but I felt compelled to suffer thru the 3rd (which I knew would suck) b/c I had watched the 2nd and "needed" to know how it all ended.

Know what? I'd put a spoiler here, but it sucked so much, I don't even remember what happened.

except Zion (or whatever that place is called) was saved, of course. I say Neo died, but dh says he's just being taken care of by the Machines until he's rested up. they're continuing the story in video games and we don't play, so I don't know who's right about Neo.

My dh loves the Animatrix. He better. It cost, like, $30.

According to my dh, the first was written by this woman who is suing those brothers b/c they stole her work. She had nothing to do with the 2nd and 3rd installments, hence the suckiness. [/gossip]

I wish I had seen this thread before DH and I wasted over 2 hours of our lives tonight with this piece of crap! Ok, so we could have turned it off after we realized it was the worst piece of cinematography ever thrust upon mankind - but it was kinda like a train wreck! We couldn't tear ourselvs away, even though we knew it was all just SO SO wrong.
I have to admit at some of the most "dramatic" moments we were in stitches from laughing so hard!

I mean really, like Trinity would be lucid enough to have that long drawn out conversation with all those things stuck in her. DH and I were like "DIE already. Come on, just DIE"

What Raven said.

Not only did it suck I was peer pressured by my family to shell out my good money and watch it in the *theater*!!!!

The second one was mediocre at best. I *knew* the third one was going to suck but did my family listen? No, Like Cassandra I fortold the future of that dreadful flick and my warnings fell on deaf ears.

I wanted to watch something else (can't even remember what now) and could i possibly watch alternative film whilst the rest of the family watched dreaded bomb of a flick? No-oh, no they wanted to watch it with *me* (me, why me??)

Oh, I wasted two hours of my life and too much money watching that blasted movie in the theater.

Can you tell I hated it? And to just add to the offense the children wanted to rent the dvd, ha!! NO WAY!!!
