Ditto To that Question!

I can't answer for the OP but my mum homeschooled me while working fulltime too. In our case it was fairly easy because she either worked for family and was able to bring me with her or later had her own business with my stepdad, so again could bring me with her. She used a self-paced workbook system so I really did alot of the learning on my own, but it worked well for us.

I am homeschooling my ds now, but just barely working from home at this point (though I did just talk to a mama in my area about some job opportunities where the kiddos would be able to be with me most of the time I think I learned the multi-tasking part of it from my mom though....listen to ds read while I am doing something else etc.

I can homeschool and work because my job has unusual hours. I work in a supported living home on the weekends, living with 4 mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed young men. I work 47 hours straight through. I even get paid to sleep, although it's a rare night when I am not woken up several times by somebody wanting a glass of water, or throwing up, or thinking that it's time to mow the lawn at 3 AM or some weird thing.

So anyway, I have all week off. The kids stay with their dad while I am working, on his days off. He does okay considering he has never really become a grown up. All in all, it works.
