Week of May 10 - Page 4

Yes, I have noticed that I am both very hot and very hungry, although not at the same time.
When I was pregnant with Hannah, I was so sick for so long I never really got the "eating for two" munchies. This time I feel like I'm eating for three...me, baby cookie, nursing hannah.
It's been a rainy spring here and I'm already uncomfortable with the moderate temps (70s). I'm dreading the hot and humid summer coming up. Hoping to spend a lot of time in my sister's pool.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Well...I waxed my whole last pregnancy and this one. It's well worth the pain!!! I really don't find I'm any more sore. I remember being a little more prone to bleeding around the bikini line but that's it really. Shaving is horrid for me on my thighs and bikini line so I just can't do it. I get wicked rashes and people think I have strange diseases ROFL. I just waxed a few weeks ago actually. No problems. Once my belly gets bigger, I'll get to go get it professionally done.

COngrats on the healthy boy Piglet!!!

I'm always hungry, but to address the QOTW I've gained about 11lbs, not too bad if you ask me for 16 weeks. I gained 37 or so with DS and it was all gone plus some shortly after, and it looks like I'm about on target for that again.

The stomach pains described earlier could very well be like memtioned, your intestines pushed up high. I get wicked gas pains high in my belly now.

Feeling baby about once a day now, slowly getting stronger...can't wait to really feel those somersaults......

Just wanted to add an inspiring story for the week:

DH's cousin just gave birth to their second child yesterday morning, at home. She proves we can do anything!!! Her son was 23 inches long, and over 12lbs!!! (no exact weight, the midwife brought a 12-lb scale and he was a bit too heavy for it...) If that doesn't help give faith in your body....I don't know what will!!

Oooh one more thing. So Ella is just becoming too much. What do you think of Lillian Nora for a girl???

Woohoos to your DH's cousin and her family. What a great story to read.

Well, I like Lillian as it's our choice if we have a girly girl
Good for Dh's cuz!

As far as being hot goes, it's been in the high 80's with suffocating humidity, but I haven't been to uncomfortable yet. We don't run the air, so were pretty acclamated..

The waxing thing...maybe it is because I had shaved again and let it get so it was like my first time waxing, I dunno! All I know is that I still have red marks from it and am afraid to wear deoderant incase it bothers it. It was the same person who did it the other times I waxed (about 3 times) so I don't think there was anything different about it this time! The other times I had no problems, not really any pain during (the first time being the worst) and definately no discomfort afterwars like this!
