Well, I don't know if 14 months is considered extended bf (I don't feel like it is), but thought I would post here. Dd has been uninterested for the last 3 weeks or so, but I've been nursing her every night before she goes to bed anyway! Terrible Mommy LOL! The last two nights she hasn't nursed at all--I tried but she just wiggles away laughing to play with her brother. With my other two, I was sad when they weaned, but Stormy will be our last and I guess it is really hitting me hard. I know there isn't anything I can do, but guess I just wanted some sympathy from those who understand! Most people I know IRL don't bf or stop at 1 or 2 months, so they all think I'm crazy. That's ok--let them think it! Ok, I've got that off my chest--thanks so much for listening!
My DS weaned at 15 months, and I had such mixed feelings about it. Although I knew I had done my best for him, I was disappointed that it ended before I was ready.
