Did you like the old-style trekker better?

I found one in a free box. It is the lighter blue, with metal clasps. I think I want to keep it, and sell my newer trekker, because I wanted that color in the first place, but the newer one is dark blue.

I did notice that the older one doesn't have the newborn loops on the velcro thing (KWIM?) so that the baby doesn't fall out, but I could easily sew some on.

Should I sell my newer one, and for how much?

did you ever find out, I want to know too!

I have an email from the baby trekker folks that says:

"It was later discovered that with taller people there seemed to be
more space on the sides so the safety loops were created to close this area. Should you acquire a second hand
Trekker just let us know and we can send you the safety loops that can easily be included by a seamstress in your
area at minimal cost."

So, if you really want to keep the older trekker, but you want to carry a newborn and are tall, you can get the safety loops from them and sew them on yourself.
