where can i find 100% cotton fleece?

They may be out now since it is out of season, but they had some Roots heavyweight fleece that was really awesome.

No problem. I really like the Roots stuff that I have. It just gets softer every wash. I hope you like it, too.

do you use it for the body of the dipe? i guess i was going to use it for inserts to my pocket dipes. what kind of water do you have? i have heard others say that a certain type of fabric (flannel, hemp, and others) just gets softer with every wash, but i have never had that with my dipes. we have well water which very hard, would that be why? is there anything i can do to get them to be softer with every wash?

Hard water might be the problem. Have you tried using baking soda or calgon to soften the water??? It helps here. I have used the fleece for diaper bodies and soakers.

I have some fleeces from Wazoodle, in various weights and I'm very pleased. I'm making teeny nb dipes out of it for the newbie and I made some doublers in the interim to see how it washes up... I've had no problems. It gets 'denser' with a few washes, as most fleeces do, but it did not get stiff at all.
