My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
To anyone looking for a carrier, BECO is the brand!
I recently had purchased the Gemini, great carrier! It has everything you will ever need and want, its ergonomic, comfy, organic, made...
I get them from thaisilks if they have what I need in stock and aren't backordered lol
Dharmatrading when I need to.
I have also bought silk yardage and had a friend serge the ends for me to make silks.
I use procion dyes or silk dyes/paints depending on what i'm doing
OK, sorry for the extremely dense question, but it's late...
I've seen some gorgeous playsilks at various WAHM sites and think they are lovely - but what do you/your child use them for? I have a boy and haven't put much thought into them.
Well, right now Stella is wee so I use it just to kind of wow her with. I swirl them over her or kind of let them float over her while she lays on the floor, play peek-a-boo. She likes to suck on them and I also love to use them to tie toys to when we're out. I tie one end to a teether and the other to the strap of my mei-tai or whatever.
When they get older you can buy clips and use them to make tents, or use them for dress up... I like them because they are open ended.
DD#1 uses them for everything. Roofs, wrap for dollie, diaper for dollie, skirt, head scarf, wedding gown, water in "bathtub" for washing bear, flowers,... whatever their imagination takes them.

You would be suprised at what they can come up with. A boy I take care of, (and he's all about dinosaurs and volcanos and fossils) will use the silks as protection from the hot lava on the ground to having me tie them on him like butterfly wings. Of course, he likes to use them as capes and to hide under.
Quite honestly play silks are very gender nuetral. I think maybe its the colors or the fact that they are "silk" which gives them the girl leaning.
Thanks mamas! All these are what I *thought* initially, but then I thought that because playsilks are so popular there must be something I'm missing Thanks for indulging my "duh"!!
