can you do ribbing flat and switch to circ?

Is this possible to do on a pair of pants? And then sew up the ribbing when your done?

Yep. But you can also do the ribbing in circular and then not worry about a join that's too loose. With circular ribbing, it's easy to hide mistakes.

:LOL Never dawned on me to explain! I can get the size I want for the body of the work, but not the ribbing, locally. They had to order it for me and I didn't want to wait to start...it'll be at least 10 days to get them.
