Where can I find a boo boo bunny?

Hi Moms,

I just spent a fruitless 30 minutes searching online for a "boo boo bunny". It's bascially a small stuffed animal which you can tuck a cold pack into. I'd love it if someone knew where to get an organic cloth one.

My little bambino had a fall - minor but still scary and I want to be prepared for next time.

Thanks!

We have a boo, boo bear~I found it at Safeway in the infant section. I have also seen them in specialty catalogs. I'll keep my eye out for you. My ds who is 5 yo loves it (and so do I!)

Warmly~

i bought a boo boo bear. but it has rice or something in it, you heat it up, or freeze is to make it cold. you don't put anything in it. however, the one i bought is chamomile, you can also get lavendar and peppermint. made by some moms in calgary, alberta canada. they may have a web site....incidentally where in marin are you? i will be in corte madera the whole month of june!

Dp and I were just looking at these the other night! We saw them in the Baby Bunz & Co. print catalogue. They probably have them online too (www.babybunz.com).

We have a boo boo bunny that someone gave me from leftovers at a baby shower. It is made out of a white wash cloth, roled in such a way that it looks like a bunny, rubber bands form the head and ears. Googly eyes and little pom poms have been glued on. You tuck an ice cube into its belly. We actually used it for the firs ttime last night when I had to take about 8 splinters out of ds wrist. (I've had it for 4 years.) I don't know how to make one, but maybe some crafty website might have pictures w/directions. Seems like that would be a much cheaper, easier way. It really doesn't look hard, just would need to know what way to fold and roll it. If I made one, I wouldn't even put on the eyes, nose etc.

Boo boo bunny directions

I made a boo boo bunny using these directions and it was pretty easy. For wee ones, you can leave off the ribbons and googly eyes so there's nothing to pull off. Any ordinary washcloth will work, so you can make them out of organic cotton or hemp or whatever you like. You can also get them wet and freeze them for teethers, although because of the rubber band I would keep a close eye on them.

We had them for baby shower favors and I was the only one who knew what they were! I wouldn't buy them, I'd make them from washcloths or terry from the fabric store. Baby wash cloths make tiny ones which are good for tiny boo boos
