How do you make YOUR doublers/soakers??

First, i was just wondering if there is a difference between doulbers and soakers or if it's just two names for the same thing?

to ME, they seem to be the same thing....i'm making pocket style dipes for new bean (due in OCT!! ) and will make what i call soakers....the things you stuff in the pocket. i also have some that aren't pockets that i stick a "soaker" in for extra protection. i'm going to make them square and then fold into thirds or whatever to allow for speedier drying.

so how do you make yours?

THANKS!!

I do a lot of mine trifold, like you're doing. (btw most people call soakers the part that is either snapped or sewn into the diaper and the extra part to lay in is a doubler... Then insterts or stuffers go in pockets) I also really like contoured stuffers. I make them somewhat hourglass shaped... Usually six layers. BUT I do two seperate 3 layer ones then sew them together on one or both ends. So it's one piece to worry about but still dries pretty fast.

English lesson

Sorry to be annoying, but the way you should say the your in "How do you make you're doubler/soakers?" is YOUR. You're refers to you are, so it's like you are (or you're:LOL) saying "How do you make you are doublers/soakers?"

Anyways, I'm interested to know how others make their soakers/doublers, as well. I have a bunch of organic cotton batting peices I was going to cover with some flannel. I also have some of those super shammy's that you get in the car section of a store that I was thinking of covering with flannel, as well.
