my quick reply works just fine!

Shannon, my DH is the same bloody way when it comes to video games... or anything else for that matter. He just absolutely cannot do more than one thing at a time. Oh but when he actually starts something he just cannot freaking finish it because he'll go and get something for the first job and see something else that needs to be done along the way and start doing THAT. Then of course he'll remember the first job and then leave the other job completely unfinished and in a big freaking mess. It drives me absolutely INSANE!

However, he does do chores and help out with Hannah and cooks and cleans because I would NOT be married to him if he didn't. I just cannot put up with laziness because I am so unbelievably anal about everything... I wonder how he puts up with me sometimes.

Today was an alright day. We were doing yard work in our very first yard! The previous owners must have seriously negelcted the grass and gardens (if you can call them that). So we raked the yard back to (semi) life and planted some petunias in the back near our patio and in the front I threw 15 (yes 15) packs of seeds of all different kinds of flowers in a garden below our living room window. LMAO I want it rediculously full so I suppose I'll see what, if anything, grows in a few weeks.

I'm trying to convince DH to go to McDonald's to get me an Oreo Blizzard. He's being a pain in the a$$.

I also think I need to GIO one more time tonight cause I just have a feeling that I haven't O'd and that it must be today or tomorrow. I have no idea why, it's just this feeling I have. Ugh, I'll need to have a beer or two to get in the mood... there's just so many positions and so much dirty talk a girl can do in one week.

If anyone is awake, can someone answer this really quick?

Can I use a "thermacare" heat patch if I am 5DPO? I know you aren't supposed to raise your temp too much, but if I put it on just one area of my back, should that be a problem? Will it raise my waking temp? It is only supposed to stay warm for 8 hours, and I plan on sleeping more than that.
I'm awake. But I'm useless to you since I have no idea.

6 dpo

Lesley, I think that would be fine. Elevated temp from very hot baths or sauna would be a total no-no, but what you want to do sounds fine. I wouldn't think it would raise your temp in the am, but if it was wacky, I'd probably throw it out.
Anyone else?

About dh's and chores, I have the BEST.......he is an amazing worker.

I just have this 'feeling' this week, that this could possibly be a good month. I know its crazy, because I've had every pg symptom in the book, and I have yet to be pg. So what makes it different? I can't really isolate it, but I do feel hopeful.

Korin, a sauteed veggie burrito? That sounds delicious!! I make a very good pumpkin bread too, is yours really moist? I also just acquired a really good banana bread recipe...
I'm getting that organic produce to my door every week now, and some of the items are making me stretch what I would normally cook. That's good, and now I love English Peas!

Thank you thank you ladies,
I'm off to put on my heating pad and crash out. So tired. My guests are gone, which is so nice.

velvet, I'm glad you have that good feeling. You keep it up. When are you testing? My dh has a good feeling about this month too. Hopefully both of you are right!

I am so freakin' tired.
Have a good night all. See you at 6 am!

Drat, the boards just swallowed my reply!

Lesley, hope you feel a lot better!
Testing, I hope to NOT test so early this cycle. I get crazy and want to test at 9 dpo, then I get bummed and have to wait around for AF. How about you?

14 Dpo!!!

Subscribing - Hello All!!

Brook!!

Leslyluu - hope you are feeling better.

My anniversary has been great!! DH couldn't be nicer!! We took the water taxi to downtown Seattle and went to both the new Seattle library opening (very, very cool!!) as well as the last day of the David Horsey exhibit at the Frye Art Museum (a left-winger political cartoonist who has won a few Pulitzers). We also meandered around Pike Place Market for a bit and had a very decadent dinner at a nice restaurant. I LOVE being a tourist in my own city!!

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm 14DPO and DYING to test but will hold back (I've spent too much money over the last year and a half on stupid pg tests!!). So I will wait until tomorrow.

Talk at you later! Got to go help DH do laundry and then go to bed, bed, bed!!

Parker's mommy, how are you so sure you didn't concieve? Peeing alot is a good sign!!

cd23, 9dpo

Here I am at 9dpo with absolutely no desire to test. Since I'm pretty sure this was not our cycle, I figure there's no need to waste more money on tests than necessary. And then, if I make it to the end of the week without rebooting, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Having missed my chiro appt. last week, my back is seriously killing me now, and I can't get in to see the chiropractor till Wednesday. ::sigh:: Guess this means DH is going to have to cater to my every whim until then. :LOL

DH is usually pretty good about doing chores -- if I assign them. For example, he'll happily vacuum or dust or tidy up, if I tell him to. Otherwise, nothing. It irks me a little that he doesn't take the initiative, but he never complains when I ask him to do something, so it's all okay.

Anyone up yet today?

Waiting 4 baby? I wanna see your test results!

Okay, I'm feeling fine, my back is doing okay, but as usual, I have a question. I took the heating pad off in the middle of the night. I probably slept at least 5 hours without it. This morning, look at my temp!! What is that about? Is there any strange chance that I just O'ed yesterday? If so, I'm so screwed, we thought we were covered this month.

I still have to finish reading last week's thread.

We started barn construction over the weekend and my pony left to go to a trainer.

No sign of O. Doc mailed me a scrip for 100mg of clomid. This is the last chance. If my ovaries don't respond I'm going to throw myself into training and showing the pony this summer.

Amy. :

I move tomorrow!!! Yay! Back to Ohio! I'm giving up being a dental floss tycoon and headed back for the big city! Woo-hoo!

My DH is great, but it's taken a lot of years to get him there and we still haven't finished with our training. We got married when we were 19, so I think that helped a lot because I was responsible and he wasn't, but we were young enough that he hadn't formed what my therapist called ruts yet. Well, neither of us had. We didn't have any way of living on our own that was so stringent from years of practice. So we molded to each other. Mostly he molded to me, actually. You could call me his sculptor. We're still working on him taking initiative, but since Alex was born, he has gotten so good about that. He cooks every night. I never cook. I do the heavier cleaning and the dishes and the bills and the organizing and the errand runnning. He works & goes to school and does the trash, most vacuuming, helps with Alex, picks up, and splits grocery shopping w/me or we go together. Actually, when he's at home, I feel pretty lazy. I'm notorious for calling him from whatever he's doing to get me something. :LOL So long as he gets time every now & then to spend playing video games and drinking beer, he's happy.

Belly Blessings!

My OPK came back positive yesterday and BD am and pm.
And I had a temp drop today from my normal 96.5-96.3 to 95.5.

I'll post more later . . .just want to say that after several days of brown spotting, now it's bright red. AF is gonna be here any second, and I'm only 9 DPO. IF I even O'd that is . . .my temps show a rise, but almost every day has spotting.

Hi, Ladies.

You all sound like you're in good spirits, and I'm glad to hear it!

Just wanted to give you an update, for anyone who didn't know. We found out yesterday that we were pregnant with twins, but one of them miscarried. The other baby looks healthy and everything else is ok.

I just wrote a book over in I'm pregnant, and now I'm too tired to write it out again. Hope you don't mind. Besides, I don't want to hi-jack your thread. :-P

Hope you're all holding babies, very VERY soon! I miss you!
