Nesting!

Is anyone else in a nesting mood lately?

I have been but it's hard to get organized to do what I want. Right now I'm washing baby clothes and trying to get the diapers sorted. I want to get rid of a lot of clutter that's been building up and get things straigtened out so it will be easier to keep things up after the baby is born.

I just want to get things settled!! It seems like there's not much time left when I think it's the end of May already!!!!

I'm not yet...but i need to be!! I have a bunch of major stuff to get done in here before the baby decides to arrive...2 rooms to paint (I know, but I do it with the windows wide open and help from my mom and sister, and use latex!) ...and do all the getting ready for baby stuff. I think all my nesting energy has been channelled into building a cloth diaper stash for my newborn!

I'm not into it yet, i'm feeling sleepy all the time. I'm not sure if it's my meds i'm back on, or if it's the weather or what... but i'm just so sleepy now days. I have a lot to get done to that i'm putting off... like getting dd into ds's room sometime... but i will prolly wait till after the baby gets here b/c dd just loves her crib and everything i don't feel like messing with it plus if i have to the baby can co-room with me and dh in a bassinet and playpen for a while. I really need to get my cloth diaper order in soon so i can start getting those washed and sorted... i need to start looking over the TP and ebay for some new born clothes as i don't have to many... and i need to get all the rumage stuff ready for next weekend that will help me get some things started on thining out the kids toys and stuff!!!

I am sooo not there yet. And, I need to get cracking. I still need to finish unpacking the guest room and my daughter's room, and we've lived here since December! Lots of boxes in both rooms. No big deal, since DD sleeps with us, and all her clothes are in my closet, but, I want some options for alternative nap locations once the baby arrives. Also, MIL has booked her plane tickets to come for 3 weeks the end of August/beginning of September, so we need a place for her to sleep while she's here.

Hope it's coming soon!

I am definitely nesting! And like so many others, it's a good thing! I have some serious work to do before I am even close to ready to welcome a sweet little baby to this house. It's funny, I can be a bit of a slob the rest of the time, but when I know there is a baby coming, I get cracking, and I want everything PERFECT!

We made 2 trips recently in short succession and everything was a disaster. But I am making definite headway getting the kids' stuff cleared out and straightened away, and making room for clothes for a third...I am still waiting to pull out the baby stuff and wash the little clothes and diapers and all that. I have to get the rest of this house in order first!

Glad to know I'm not the only one, because my logical side kept trying to tell me it was too early. That Mama side though, it has it's own ideas

glad to know i'm not the only one thinking it's illogical to nest w/ nearly 12 wks left, but doing it anyways! the urge is just too strong lol! i really just NEED to do these things lol...i'm working on selling off the baby girl clothes since we found out this baby is a boy and going thru all my son's clothes to see what we still need...if i can sell off some of my daughter's clothes, then i'll have the $$ for the double stroller we need! anyone need 0-6mos fall/winter girl? lol
i'm working on rearranging the babies' room too - shelby will be sharing her room with ian (well, he's actually going to cosleep w/ us for the first bit), until he's big enough to bunk w/ big brother...i need to get some better storage options for their closet and for the hall closets...
i'm also nesting big time in the sewing room still! i've completed his newborn stash and am working on finishing up the smalls - i've got some mediums made already too lol! i want to have shelving installed in there before ian arrives too - it's a combo laundry/sewing room and i need shelving for the cleaning stuff above the washer/dryer and some thread racks to eliminate all the clutter everywhere!
