We just bought a house in CT (yeah! first time!) and won't be moving in until July. The inspector found evidence of carpenter ants eating the subfloor in the kitchen & bath, but no live ones. We're supposed to call an exterminator, but if there's something else we can do besides scary chemicals, I'd rather do that. Any ideas?
