Please tell me some nice stories about your teens

I have to admit that lurking in this forum sometimes creates a lot of fear in me regarding the future with my boys. I have this vision of raising gentle, respectful, creative sons... and so far it seems to be coming true. But they are still very young.

Please tell me that many of you have *great* teens who are a pleasure to be around. Please -- reassure me!

Well, my teen can be a total PITA sometimes but that doesn't mean he isn't a great kid. Most of the time I enjoy him but there are times when I wanna beat him over the head. And I gotta say, I don't know anyone with a teen who hasn't felt this way at one time or another. LOL

What I like most about mine is that he has a great sense of humor and is very much a free-thinker (which I totally respect). A lot of people think he's weird but I think he's pretty cool. Heh, maybe that's not too reassuring but there ya go anyways.
