Watcha think of this? - Page 3

I agree, the pictures are very nice! I hate when pictures are blurry, the items are all messy looking, etc. These pictures are very nice.

Very pretty but I do not like front snappers

so it would not be something I would use on a toddler but a baby that does not move around much it would be great!

After reading through the comments I would like to add that her auction is perfect, a seller has every right to choose what form of payment she accepts. It is not rude in any way. Gosh what you all thinkin?
Okay I don't get what the deal is I read that comment as her having a sense of humor. I mean I doubt she would really keep the cover if you forgot to put the right info. But do we really have to nit pick at everything?Lately I feel this diapering board is getting more and more unfriendly I mean I have some auctions up on ebay right now.And knowing me I probably misspelled something or worded something wrong.Am I going to be picked on next?

i am absoloutely salivating over the blue set :LOL but as i am now unemployed, i won't be bidding.

i have no problem with the gift comment. i saw it as a light hearted way of asking everyone to make sure they sent identification with their MO.

I have no problem with the gift comment. It's common knowledge that us here Canadians have great senses of humor

And with all the pay pal fee's for us PLUS the hassle with green money orders I don't blame her for specifying. She's prolly been burned before.

The cover and the diaper are super cute!!!! I do pull on soakers but I have thought of giving her stuff a try.

I have just bought from her on e-bay, and am waiting for my order to arrive. I just wanted to say that she has been very pleasant to deal with, and very accomodating as well when I wanted to us a form of payment that she doesn't have listed in her auction. I just had to e-mail and ask her. And she offered to hold off on shipping until another auction I was bidding on ended, so that I wouldn't have to pay extra shipping if I won the later auction. Shouldn't this thread be about the diaper cover? Isn't that what the original thread starter was asking about? I bid on that cover, to be honest, but have since been outbid, sadly enough! I guess I'll just have to be happy with my rainbow Bearbums diaper when it arrives.

So, can we stop tearing apart her auction wording, and maybe hear from someone who has tried her diapers? And if any responses could be worded kindly, that'd be nice too! I just love the look of her work, and am hoping when the diaper arrives that if fits DS so that he can run around with a rainbow bum this summer!

And, by the way, paypal is a bit more awkward if you aren't in the US. And green US money orders don't work in Canada. That's why she CAN'T accept them--it isn't that she won't accept them. Buy the pink ones if you are sending to someone who lives in Canada. And banking in Canada in general is WAY more expensive than banking in the States. Canada and the US are actually a lot more different than most people think, in all sorts of ways, including our senses of humour (and our spelling )!

I am sick this morning over the negatifity of this thread, some of the comments were very hurtful. I've said in another post that Michelle is one of the nicest people I have met in a very long time, and in the top 5 of my favorite people. She does beautiful work, she's very thoughtful, kind, generous, loving, caring, funny, and just really awesome.
I love you like a sister Michelle!

Its very pretty. I don't really do aplix though, however, since it wouldn't be in my laundry getting stuck on stuff I *might* consider it.

Hmm I didn't really think she is copying Fuzbaby. If anything it reminded me of Sugarpeas. Still, doesn't really matter to me. Looks like a quality cover

T had to comment on this...

See, we people (US folks) think you Canadians are like us or trying to be like us.. I mean why else would you copy our coins?? LOL Anyone else get sick and tired of having Canadian coins passed off to you as actual United States legal tender!? You know you wanna be like us, admit it! This is part of their plan to passively take over. First its coins with beavers, next thing ya know it'll be your uncle, sister, mother ending every sentence with "eh"

Yep, as for the spelling.. I have a friend in Calgary and he can't spell... in fact uses completely wrong words.. course I *know* what he's trying to say.. however, I gotta make fun of him, I mean he's a Canadian for goodness sake! :LOL

I do not think she is copying anyone, she is a very nice wahm and would not do that. She is not just lurking here either, she tried to post but it was pulled. I really think some of the people have to rethink who is being rude! Seriously. What is the problem with a wahm accepting only money orders, what is the big deal? She needs to provide for her family and that is how she is doing it. By the way the wahm has a name and it is Michelle and she is a fellow Canadian wahm. She makes quality products that are not only beautiful but functional. So stop all the catterwalling and be nice!

LOL Karen, you are a brat!! I like those beavers. People pass off American coins here too as legal tender and it is not. It has Lincolns head on it I think and it says in God we Trust. LOL! We have the British Queen on our money.

Oh oh, and I wanted to add that if yur head was frozen 65% of the year you would spell funny too eh!

I totally thought the same thing. If anyone out there sells using paypal, you know what she means. I thought it was just funny paypal humor...for goodness sakes, and I'm not even from Canada . I think her covers, especially the set are gorgeous! I always have problems with aplix though. My guy is skinny and little at 10 month, and it almost always scratches him or bunches up. Maybe I'm not putting it on right?
I think the cover is gorgeous---she's one very talented mama. I don't see anything wrong w/not having Paypal. Sure, as a buyer, it's much easier, but there are a lot of cons to paypal as well. Many of which were already named here, but another thing is being a victim of identity theft. I don't blame anyone who does not want to do money transactions via the internet--it's way too easy to get hacked.

Threads like these are what makes me think twice about how I list my auctions and present my items because you just never know who is going to be there tearing them apart--especially in a forum like this where there's a high likelihood the mama herself could be reading it.
I think they look like beautifully sewn diapers and covers. She has put time and attention into them as well as the display. I would totally buy these if they were snapped instead of Aplix, but that is JMHO.

I don't have a problem with the gift statement since I find it as blunt as the statements "if you don't pay in xyz number of days I will leave negative feedback" or "if you leave negative feedback I will return". Ebay is a finicky creature that I try to deal with as little as possible.

As for the payment issue, I don't mind paying that way in the least. It is hard to imagine that not everyone uses paypal, but it is a huge PITA for people in other countries.
i have to say that i have one fuzbomb with aplix and I LOVE the fit because of the aplix. i can adjust it to be perfect where as with the snaps i can't. is this the same bearbums that was a part of cuddlebuns? or am i thinking of someone different? anyway, i think her work is gorgeous and if i was shopping for new diapering products i would totally go after one of her items.

i too think that she must have a sense of humor for a comment like that. i think some people are being too critical and sensative.

: She was kidding. IT is very hard to tell who is buying what if you have a money order come in and it is hard to read without any idea what it is for. We are all mamas here and I think it is showing a good sense of humor. Not tacky at all, more like hey I am HUMAN and fun too. :nana:

Those are georgeous! If I had the $ I'd bid on the medium set. Her work looks flawless. And I could tell she was joking about the "gift" thing...maybe it would have helped had she put a smilie at the end of that sentence?
