Conference in Kissamee FL

Is anyone at the FL Homeschool Conference in Kissamee FL? Thurs -Sat May 27-29

I really wanted to go but the cost was just toomuch for us right now.


I would love to hear a review, comments, raves , suggestion etc

I think I mostly wanted to go to learn the FL laws , get inspried by others, make friends, etc (as we are child led/unschool oriented )

Hey there! I too had thought about it, but I have friends that have gone regularly and tell me that it is largely a Christian Homeschool theme, and that is just not something I am interested in. Some from the Keys is going, and they are a Christian homeschool group.

I read the list of exhibtor and it would be intresting to see the stuff.


Dd already says she goes to homeschool. As she is obsess w/ the big yellow school buses, I began tell her about institutional school vs HS. We have a elementary 3 blks away. I think most toddlers are obsessed with it. I would like her to *see* other homeschool kids so she knows she is not alone. KWIm.

I'm gonna bump this thread up around Wed to see if anyone has returned from it andf the long wkend.
