Hi everyone. My name is Kara and I've been lurking here for awhile. I am expecting my third on Sept. 13. I have two girls Cecile (3 1/2) and Antoinette (16 mos.) My husband Frank is THRILLED that we are having a boy!!! He really loves his girls, but he has this thing about passing on the family name . I was reading on the May 2004 forum about all the birth stories - how exciting!!! I can't wait until it is us.

Hi Kara..welcome! We are having a boy too, but this is our second boy. I know what you mean though about the husbands, mine wants MORE boys to ensure the name lives on!!

Welcome aboard Kara! My DCs are almost the same exact ages as yours. My DD is 3 1/2 and my DS is 15 months and we are expecting our third. :LOL

Hi Kara -- welcome! We have close due dates; mine is Sept. 18. I also have a sister named Cara.

I'm having a boy, which my husband is very pleased about, too! There is no one else to pass on the family name. His brother is a confirmed bachelor and there are no cousins. He himself was a bachelor for a very long time and we're passing on his family first name as well. It's like being a part of history!
