Yuck! Roaches!

Someone may have posted this before, but I'm wondering....is there a natural way to kill or drive away roaches? We don't really have a bad problem with them (yet), but I have seen a couple in the past month and I want them out of my house!

Will peppermint oil work? Anything else?

Catnip and rosemary. You can makea strong tea out of it and spray the house with it. I dunno howwell it works. Our house is infested with all sorts of bugs and my slumlord doesn't care. We tried everything... but the house is falling apart somuch there is no wayto stop themfrom coming in.. hence making professional spraying a waste ofmoney.
