I assume you are asking about "Spirit".. (You accidentally started a new thread. It happens to everyone now and then.)
Yes. It has guns. It is the story of a wild horse who is captured and brought to a Army post in the old west. A few times guns are fired in the air to get attention. Also they threaten to shoot The Horse early on and they do shoot another horse. They also shoot at The Horse and his Lakota friend later in the movie. Gosh, now that I am adding it all up there is quite a bit of gunplay actually.

Yes there are guns, and I wouldn't take a very small child to see it but I think it was a nice way to present the horrible past of the US through the eyes of an animal.

I usually feel the same way about not wanting ds to see a movie with guns in it, but I felt differently about this one. Mostly because it showed how *bad* guns are and how damaging they are. During the movie when the horse Rain (spirit's friend) gets shot my ds looked over at me and asked me what had happend and I told him that the man had shot the horse with a gun. As a kid who has been expirimenting with "gun" play recently (he's 3 1/2) I was very thankful for this opportunity for him to realize why I keep telling him that we don't pretned to play gun or pretend to shoot guns because they are very SERIOUS, etc.
