i would love to plant this baby's placenta in the yard under a tree, but my dear, beloved, squeamish husband doesn't want to see it, talk about it, keep it, or even acknowledge it - let alone have a ritual and plant it!
i think my first placenta must have gotten incinerated in the hospital freezer, and i know my second placenta is planted under a flowering bush (?i think?) in the yard of my midwife's ex-husband's house.
but i'm with those of you who aren't going to EAT the thing. no way, no how! not my thing at all!

September isn't exactly planting season around here.
And it wouldn't have to be long before you planted it either, since fall is a very good time to plant trees. If you would *love* to do it, I say tell your husband to take a chill pill and do what you want!
