My Doctor Commited Suicide

Mom just wrote me and told me my doctor commited suicide last night . She was disbarred in April for not paying her medical fees and she had a long history of not showing up for appointments but in my honest opinion, she was the best doctor I ever had. I left my family's long line of being with one specific doctor so I could go see her as she was a very caring, compassionate person. She always listened to me and helped me in ways other than medical and took me seriously when I had any questions or problems unlike my former doctor who was cold and clinical. I'm so saddened by this and she'll always be my doctor in my heart

Did she leave any family behind? Perhaps writing them a letter about how much this woman meant to you would be helpful to both of you?

I know she has a brother she's not close to and I've heard conflicting news about her mother (some say she was caring for her, some say her mother died a couple of years ago). Maybe it will say in her obituary.
