I just got a BFP yesterday on one of those digital tests. Wow! We were planning on ttc end of the year and this is a total surprise. What makes it really surprising is that I haven't had a period since May 2002 when we conceived ds1, plus we were using contraceptive foam (well, I know it's not 100% effective, but I figured that combined with breastfeeding). I've been breastfeeding ds since he was born feb 2003. I've kind of had a feeling I was ovulating without menstruating though. What clued me in to needing to take a pregnancy test was having sore nipples. I actually thought I was pregnant around the time I concieved (we're pretty sure we know when), but took a test and it was negative (about 2 1/2 weeks ago). So I was starting to think I was gearing up for my first ppaf, but that never came so yesterday I re-tested and was happy to see the positive result!
Our latest guesstimate for due date is February 4th 2005, though if conception occurred at an earlier moment of passion about a week and a half previously, then maybe it will be January. We shall see, I'm sure at the birthing center they will help me pinpoint the best due date to use. But I'm fairly certain already.
I'm looking forward to having you all to talk to throughout my pregancy!
