Natural induction techniques- any experience with these herbs?

Hi, new here
I have a few questions.
But first a little about me:
I am due June 6th(it will be a vbac hopefully). My daughter is about 19months old- she was a c-section due to being 44 weeks, I was planning on a birthing center, but she kept turning and ended up footling(even after the doctor turned her!) Anyways- The baby is head down now, and the midwife wanted to start me on herbs today. Long story short- our insurance did not become effective until today which is why the midwife did not want to start anything sooner. Also, now with Vbacs they wont use pit to induce so we really want to get this baby moving down and out before he could turn again. I really dont want to rush things( well, I kind of do- but who doesn't want pregnancy to be over when you are this far along?)but I really don't want to think about another c-section. If at least for my daughters sake. We practice AP parenting, co sleeping and we are very close.
So, today I started taking:
5W
liquid dulse
Evening Primrose oil(orally and as a supository
1/4 tsp castor oil a day

So my question is if any of you have had experience with any of these as a means of naturally getting things moving. And by no means is my midwife cramming these at me- I am totally into herbs and even took some (although different) towards the end with my daughter.
Any input would be great. I know every woman is different but still its nice to know.

I didn't use any of those. I used a homeopathic remedy called Caulophyllum which is Blue Cohosh. I also used it herbally along with Black Cohosh. Nipple stimulation and sex also help induction (certainly never hurt ). Hope that helps.
Good luck!

with a VBAC I'd be hesistant to do anything to interfere with the normal course of labor.
