Horrible very REAL nightmares?

Anyone else having these?

In my dream a body was found near an apartment building that I lived in a long time ago. In my dream, when I heard the news of this discovery I realized that I knew something about the murder. I woke up and contemplated whether I should be calling the police to tell them about it. It was sooooo real! I really felt like it was more of a memory than a dream for about a half hour after I woke up. I finally realized that in my dream the setting was not at all like where those apts were, so I realized that this was not really a repressed memory of some kind.

I have similar vivid dreams (often with nightmarish type themes) pretty regularly.

DH goes at night to attend to our two year old. Last night I told him to PLEASE bring him back to our room. I didn't want to be alone!

DH and I are right there with you. We BOTH have nightmares more often when I'm pregnant. Ours are super scary & vivid and usually involve our
kid(s). In my last one I was walking home from giving birth to ds and he started to crawl on the sidewalk - keeping up with me. Then we crossed the (busy downtown) street holding his hands like when they are just starting out. So when we hit the other sidewalk, he's walking next to me and the size of my 2 year old. A red truck pulls up with 5 guys in it and they grab both of us and throw us in the back of the cab. It was a horrible struggle/fight and I really don't want to plant it in someone else's head for them to dream, but it was so real I woke up kicking, crying and screaming. It took me 3 days before I could shake that one, it got so violent. Dh and I have nightmares at least 2-3 times a week b/n the two of us. Maybe it's our instincts getting us ready to defend our baby if necessary; kind of like braxton-hicks get your uterus ready for labor. We had nightmares with ds #1, but not this badly, hopefully they will go away again once ds #2 is here and not letting us sleep.
Sorry for the long post, just had to get that off my chest and let you know you're not the only one waking up at night. Good luck.
