What day do you think your baby will make his/her exit?

What day (exactly, if you wish) do you think you will end up with a NB in your arms? I'm going to go for July 5th.... or later. I'm due july 3rd, and I'm going by what happened to my mom in her second birth. My brother was born a day after his due date, and my first was 9 days late, whereas I was 6 days late.

I'm also interested in what any of you think about the moon influencing your labour. I heard that a lot of people go into labour on the full moon, and there is one on july 2nd, and july 31st. My DD was born on the new moon, so I don't think that applies to me. There is a new moon on July 17th.

Twice now I have told someone without thinking first that baby is due July 7 (my actual edd is July 3). Very weird because both times it took me a minute to even realize my mistake. I did not correct myself as this is all so imprecise anyway. However, I wonder why I spontaneously chose that date if I wasn't just going to stick with the real edd . I am also interested to seen how the moon phases will/won't affect our labors (especially since I am due the 3rd).

I think July 31st maybe.. I am almost sure I will be late..

I think my babe will arrive either on the 10th or the 17. (Due date is the 16th) I am just guessing at this because I went into labor on friday evenings with my girls and delivered in the wee hours of saturday morning both times. Thinking this is likely to happen again.

I am hoping for the 19th or the 20th. I know that's early and they say that 1st timers don't come early, but I just have a feeling that he'll be early

My due date is the 12th, and I am guessing either the 12th, or the week prior. Ds was born on his due date. I don't know why, but I have had an early feeling about this baby from the beginning. Of course, that probably means I'll be 2 weeks late!

My main midwife is out of the country until July 7th, so I'm hoping it's not before then. But I like my backup midwife a lot, so it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

I am voting for June 23, but I am not sure. Goo came on her due date, but now I am weaning from the terb and I have the WORST cramps...AUGH. No plug or bloody show, so she's still hanign in there

Both of my boys were born exactly a week after their due date, but this due date is less sure (my cycles were 28 days when I got pg with my other two and was 32 days with this one). So, I'm thinking she'll go over 41 weeks. I'd say August 6-8.

I love patterns, so Sunday the 8th would be nice (Lars was born on a Friday and Dane on a Saturday).

I also think she should be either 7lb 14oz or 8lb 8oz (Lars was 8lb 2oz and Dane was 8lb 5oz) to fit in my pattern.

I haven't been affected by the moon either time (that I know of). Despite was L&D and ER nurses will try to tell you, there is no higher incidence of birth on full moons.

Despite my sigline that says July 10th, my actual date is the 13th. I had calculated online, but then my MW used her little wheel thingy to calculate from the day I ovulated so it should be fairly accurate, except that my temp stairstepped so it's hard to say exactly when the egg was produced.

At any rate, I'm thinking the 10th sounds like a good day, if only because I really want to go to country fair (a big yearly festival in nearby Veneta, Oregon) on the 9th and I think after riding the bus out there and walking around for a while, I'll certainly put myself into labor. Dd was born 3 days before her date, and I was my mom's only baby born a week before my date, and given the interesting sensations I've been having already I think this baby could be a little early too. At any rate, I'll be surprised if I make it to the 13th. I'm not even sure I'll make the fair.

Our ds was born under a full moon, but my labor was induced two weeks before my due date (preeclampsia). So I really have no idea with this baby! I'm so curious to see how it all unfolds.

I have had a talk with this baby, Lila. We agree that she needs to stay inside and grow to be the biggest baby she can be. She also needs to stay put between July 7 and July 15. My SIL is coming up to watch ds, and she will be out of town that week.

My due date is somewhere around July 18-20. If I were to guess, I would say she'll come on July 17, since that is a Saturday. Dh is a pastor, so anything disruptive happens in our lives late Saturday night! Ds was born on at 11:09 PM on a Saturday.

I am going to guess 7/19. My DS was 6 days early. But I don't think this baby will be as big, so maybe she won't feel the need to appear as quickly.

chloe was due april 26th and arrived may 2nd

but this pregnancy seems so different, everything about it is different, or maybe I am just more in tune.

I have no idea about the dates, I secretly hope to go mid-july because I have a lot of people coming to visit the week of my due date and I secretly just want to labor alone : with dh and dd

but he will come when he's ready..and hopefully not too soon, because we still don't have a name chosen..lol

but I do have lots of contractions everytime while I am at work, and I scheduled myself a lot for the beginning of july so I can have the end of july off...I'm thinking it'll put me into labor..

I'm thinking July 10th ... partly because that's two weeks early and this baby has been measuring ahead by two weeks the whole time (not that that truly is a predictor). Because I have GD, I'm thinking baby will come a bit early. Also, my sister's baby shower is on the 10th and a part of me thinks it would be cool (and a bit passive-aggressive) to have my baby that day (also gives me an excuse to miss it ... even though I'd like to go, it's in the city over an hour away and I'm ALREADY so uncomfortable traveling!). I feel like suck a bad person for thinking that way :

Allright, I'll bite...July 19th. My chart was all crazy when I O'd because I was nursing with insanely short LPs and I didn't know exactly when I O'd to the day so I picked a random day - Oct 30 - and my MW ran with it. But when I had my U/S, the baby measured with an edd of July 19th - which corresponds exactly to the day we had sex as well as the fact that this child is a boy - 'y' sperm swim faster, therefore making it possible for sex and O to be closer together. Did ya get that?

kris~~that is interesting about the male sperms moving quicker, therefore getting preggo quicker. My EDD by ultrasound corresponds directly to the day I had sex. I think this baby is a boy, but I'm not posative. It's funny isn't it how they can date the baby's age down to the day? I had an ultrasound and they dated it at 9 weeks 2 days on that day. They were right cause that is exactly when I had sex (7 weeks and 2 days before).

Well, to put it succinctly, y sperm have less genetic material so they don't weight down the sperm as much.

And I was AMAZED after that ultrasound. I was sure I was having a girl because I thought I O'd later. But when I looked again at my chart, the u/s was spot-on. Crazy!

Well, mamajaza, I am waiting with bated breath here for that boy to come out - LOL! Prove me right!
