Bon-Ami

I'm surpriced I have not seen anyone else mention Bon-Ami powder. I use it for the tub and I love the way it works. It's been around for ages, but I don't think that most people realize it's just calcium carbonate (chalk). It may have some other ingredients though- anyone know?

i believe it's got feldspar (sp?), which is a mineral too...love it for scrubbing - but i did just discover that baking soda/vinegar made the cruddy grout in my kitchen tiles cleaner than i've ever seen!

This works better than comet on my tub. I LOVE IT and no nasty fumes.

the cleaning essentials

Bon Ami --calcium carbonate-- is an essential. What else?
vinegar
borax (what's the chemicals in this? It is a sodium right?)
baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)

What else is "essential" for cleaning?
