I've been slowly mulling over what I think we still need to get and organizing things (mainly in my head) as to where stuff is and where we are going to put it.
I have some more diapers on order. I was just looking through what I still have left from Jack's newborn days this afternoon with my mom. I'm pretty confident I have enough set aside now.
I'm set on clothes because I just have to pull out the bin with Jack's old newborn clothes. I'll wash them up when it's closer to time. Most of what we have are HannaAndersson zipper sleepers.
those. They are so easy to get on and off an infant. I hate trying to figure out those snap patterns at that 2am diaper change. :LOL :LOL We only changed Jack into other outfits if we were going out. Otherwise he just staying in comfy sleepers.
I need to get a new carseat. I'm selling our old Graco seat and stroller set. I have a Peg Perego stroller that I love that I want to get the infant seat that works with it (so I have that additional flexiblity when we are out). #3 might love the sling as a newborn but I want to be prepared because neither Tori or Jack liked slings until they were much older. Once #3 is out of the infant seat, we'll probably move him into Tori's old RA and get her a larger seat like a Marathon or the equivalent that will last until she's older.
I need to pull the bassinet out of Tori's room (it is currently home to a bunch of her stuffed animals :LOL). Then I need to re-dress it with the antique lace skirt again and get the linens all set for it. It's a beautiful old wicker bassinet that both my brother and I slept in (and so did Tori and Jack) I'm putting that off until much closer to my due date. Partly because there isn't a lot of extra room in our bedroom and the bassinet will actually have to "block" my closet door. We've tried doing the family bed. DH does great, I get NO sleep

We know that eventually #3 will be in the same room as Jack. (hopefully we'll be in a different house then) But we haven't figured out the exact logistics yet. Jack will probably be close to 2 years old and we'll be looking to move him from the crib and into a toddler bed if he's ready and comfortable. Guess the futon couch will have to come out of that bedroom.
Still have my old wool nursing pads.
them. I'll probably get a new nursing gown to wear after the birth.
I need to get a few more Mama pads. I hadn't really gotten into using cloth pads until after most of my PP last time.
I need to get a baby book.
I guess I'm pretty well set. Helps having had a baby only a year ago.
Most stuff hasn't gotten packed away into... "now were did I put that" land yet. :LOL
