I can hope - but with only having sex once - on ovulation day - well - not thinking it is very likely....

I think I will have to look more into this test/ animal protein (hair) connection. Since I am a quasi veggie (and we're thinking about giving meat up entirely again -- no offense to you carnivores, but both M and I have an aversion to meat right now... when I'm not craving steak.) I don't feel right POAS without knowing more about this...

Of course, I am anti-POAS anyway, so -- maybe this is one more way for me to justify my cheapness! :LOL

Much packing and utility-calling to do today, so I might not be around much...

Yeah, I didnt' see a negative to the smilie.. so I wanted to use it in a fun way ... so that maybe others wouldn't see something ugly in it. I see it as kind of a Masked man..Zorro type....

Wow... so much happening again today!!

Adina... I'm stalking you!! glad you liked your song Hey... maybe the "just relax" thing is the opposite here.. Be totally stressed, don't sleep, eat well, or even have a lot of sex, and THEN you'll get pregnant. :

Alexis... as a full fledged vegetarian ( not vegan ) i am only slightly torn about the the pee sticks. Hopefully Shan is right. : I'm a vegetarian who eats cheese and eggs, and wears leather shoes. I eat cheese and eggs beacuse I like cheese - have had to sacrifice my whole life with food allergies... and don't feel like I HAVE to give up cheese just because I choose not to eat animal flesh. I wear leather shoes because I'm also an environmentalist, and if I buy man made shoes, they'll end up in a landfill in 6 months, but my leather shoes will last for years and years. I just figure, you've gotta choose your battles, and this is MY choice... no one elses. I'm happy with it currently... but who knows I reserve the right to change my mind at any time So with peeing on a stick... well last month was the first time I didn't do it at all, and I felt better about the whole process. I think I was just "surrendering" (ugh, I'm hating that term right now - I'll post in the SURRENDER thread) to the process.. and frankly it was the easiest month. I'm not planning on testing until I'm either late, or if my chart CLEARLY goes triphasic. (hold me to this girls!!) And besides, I only have one test, and I don't want to waste it... I too am a cheap bastard.

heve.. your chart is looking good!! do we have a pact not to test this month??? I think you are 2-3 days ahead of me again. Either way, we'll still be in the same due date club!! Hurry up Alexis... O already!

Erika - I'd have a drink or two and not worry about it. I probably had a drink at least once in dpo land every cycle while TTC the first time. DH and I are really into microbreweries and everyone would have assumed I was pg if I stopped drinking altogether.

Denise - your chart is looking good.

Adina - I've got my : for you. Your chart looks good. Not to fuel the obsession, but Nate was a shot deal 4 or 5 days before O...

My temps shot up this morning, so I think I am 1dpo. We GIO last night, but did the pull and pray method of BC. I'll be ok with either a + or AF this month.

Adina, I'm sure you know this, but it only takes once!!!!
Doctor's appt's went alright. Turns out I've now had 3 docs tell me that demeral is completely safe in pregnancy and then just cause I didn't entirely believe them, I called Motherrisk and it turns out it has the same safety rating as regular old Tylenol--which after 2 crush injuries to my hands, a ruptured disc in my back and 10 yrs of RA, tylenol doesn't do squat for me!!
OB however gave me much in the way of restrictions, no lifting over 15 lbs, no bumpy stuff (asked about taking an ATV tour in the mountains) and no dropping from a helicopter, which means I'm going to have to cancel a search and rescue seminar that I was teaching cause it will look funny if I make all the newbies repel and I stay up in the chopper.

Thanks, and you bet! AF is due on 06/16, and my HSG is sched for 6/22, so IF (and that's a big IF) AF doesn't show by 6/17, and temps high, I will test then.

Shannon - I guess that makes sense, since Demerol is one of the drugs women in hospitals can get to help with labor pains. (Tho my sis and best friend both said it was : not good at all! But if it already works for you )

And as per your restrictions -- I agree with her.

I've just called 3 utility companies which is like this : And I have one more to go (cable) and then I need to find a refrigerator dolly to rent! Plus, more packing, and thursday we need to get our street parking permit, and oh yes -- change our address on our licenses and registration and junk! Moving is so much fun, isn't it?

Actually, I'm doing pretty well so far. I'm not frantic, just slightly frustrated by dealing with beurocracy!

GIO fest will continue tonight...
